As an aside: There is a very sobering plaque on the outside wall of Piccolo Teatro Grassi, that roughly translates from Italian: "HERE BETWEEN September 8, 1943 April 25, 1945 AND NOW HAVE FOUND THE TORTURE AND DEATH HUNDREDS OF FREEDOM FIGHTERS OF PRISONERS OF FASCISTI LITTLE THEATRE HAS MADE THIS EDIFICIOUN CENTER AND A SYMBOL OF REBIRTH OF CULTURAL AND DEMOCRATIC LIFE OF MILAN" Thank You, Google Translate!, and Thank You, Piccolo Teatro della Citta di Milano.
