Absolutely beautiful area in Madrid! While visiting for my 39th birthday, this was added to the…read morelist of places to check out. Full of shops, vendors, amazing restaurants, and more chocolate stores than you can imagine!
I loved the fact that everyone just kinda minded their own business and did their shopping, while most stood or sat around, eating food or talking with friends.
We sat in the square, eating slices of pizza, and people watched while avoiding hungry pigeons and random folks offering to take photos LOL. It's a tourist spot, so what can you do!
But it was a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of the main city, and I took a stroll every day.
