Black Pearl Boba Tea in the Wellington Mall offers a huge variety of boba teas and milk teas, plus…read morethose viral fruit ice creams. I've tried the peach flavor and it was delicious. On a separate visit, I picked up 10 steamed dumplings. They let you match and mix so I got three shrimp, three beef, and four chicken. Overall I didn't enjoy the dumplings. The beef and chicken were nearly indistinguishable. The shrimp wasn't good to me. I also tried a potato Korean corn dog and a peach tea with tropical popping boba and a strawberry tea with strawberry popping boba. They were absolute delicious 10/10. Service and staff was professional and accommodating. The store was clean and comfortable as well. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu and probably get another Korean corn dog but I'll skip the dumplings.

We ordered a lychee fruit tea with boba and less ice and 75% sugar and a Dubai chocolate matcha tea with less ice and 75% sugar. The lychee fruit tea was average but we asked for regular boba and were instead given mini boba for both drinks, which was pretty disappointing. It was also super disappointing that they don't even fill up the cup to the rim if you ask for less ice. The Dubai chocolate matcha was also kind of a let down. It tasted similar to chocolate milk. The ambiance is nice but the seating area is a little old and worn down. The service was also okay. I guess they prefer that you use the kiosk to order, but that is harder to customize so we called one of the employees over to place our order. The employee that took our order was patient and helpful.

This location has an unnecessary rule that you can't use the bathroom unless you have paid for your drink first. If someone is clearly in line waiting to order the drink, I don't understand why the other person shouldn't be able to use the restroom. They have a code to use the restroom on the receipt, which seems unnecessary. If you don't want caffeine or anything with Tea, the options are pretty limited. Everything else is basically mango flavored or red bean flavored. And if you ask for a replacement for the tea, it will just be water. They also charge extra if you want to replace the milk powder in any of the Milk teas with lactaid, oat milk, or soy milk. When they are already charging $8+ for a medium sized drink, it seems kind of crazy to charge extra for even regular milk instead of dehydrated milk. It feels like there are way better boba places that charge a more reasonable price and are more flexible with their options.

The Donuts The mochi donuts are a total game-changer. Unlike…read morea regular heavy donut, these are light, airy, and have that perfect "bouncy" chewy texture. The signature ring shape makes them so easy to pull apart and share (or just eat by yourself, no judgment). * Standout Flavors: The Ube is a must--it has a beautiful purple glaze and a subtle, sweet vanilla-coconut vibe. If you like a crunch, the Cookies & Cream or the Cereal toppings are top-tier. The Korean Corn Dogs But honestly? Don't leave without getting a Korean Corn Dog. They are made to order, so they come out piping hot and incredibly crispy. * The Go-To: Get the Half & Half (half mozzarella, half hot dog) coated in Potato cubes. It's the perfect mix of savory, salty, and a little sweet if you opt for the sugar sprinkle on top. * For the Bold: The Hot Cheetos or Crispy Ramen coatings add a crazy level of crunch that stays crispy even after the drive home. Pair your food with an Ube Milk Tea or a Thai Tea with boba. The sweetness cuts through the savory corn dog perfectly And even though I didn't get the young ladies name she was working there Saturday evening she did an amazing job handling a rush by herself we came in with just us 3 and she was soon hit with a 10/12 people rush and she maintained her job and did it well

We wound up getting iced teas and rice hotdogs instead. Both were very good. We didn't try the donuts this time so I can't talk about them... I got a peach iced tea. Although it was about $6 for it, it was very good. My husband got a passion fruit iced tea -- it even had seeds! -- and he liked it, as well. We both got an original rice hotdog. A fat hot dog encrusted in a crispy outside and served on a stick. We got sone mustard to go with it, but they even have mango habanero sauce if you want spicy. The dogs were filling. Glad we gave them another try. Next time we will try the donuts again.

My kids selected fairly popular items- strawberry milk tea and peach yogurt tea, but neither one liked the teas in the end. But that's ok- we had fun trying everything! The employees were super patient, although I wish they had asked what sweetness level they wanted in each tea, and I forgot that this was even an option until after we ordered. My kids loved the claw machine of course, and after 3 rounds, 1 kids did get something out. The staff gave out stickers. They have so many options! Store was clean with a couple of tables.

My go-to order is always the brown sugar milk tea, and they get it just right every time. The staff is friendly, and the menu is easy to read, so ordering is always a breeze. The new self-ordering kiosk makes the process even quicker and more convenient. A large size is around $8, definitely not the cheapest, but it's comparable to other boba spots and not overly expensive for the quality you get. The shop can be a little hard to find since it's tucked away in a hidden spot at the Greenwood Shopping Centre, right next to Bealls Outlet. Highly recommend if you're a boba fan or curious to try Gong Cha!
