This is the second time they have rescheduled my appointment with Cailin McDaniel. Usually I always have a good time here but this is the first time I would be meeting this doctor and now I still haven't met her. I'm having really bad stomach pains and been refusing to go to the hospital because I said to myself I'll be seeing the doctor soon but now I have to wait another week and probably go to the emergency room for my stomach because the doctor can't see me. I'm very disappointed that I switched primary care providers to go to this doctor here but I still haven't seen here it's been a month. The reason they had to reschedule was because the doctor isn't in so I'm hoping she's in next week or else I'm switching to another doctor. I need help for my issues and no one is taking my health seriously. read more

Sidney FITES will have you aggressively taken to the mack under someone else's name (in my case she used my therapist's name who was out of town). She will hold you against your will and not tell you why you are there. She is a manipulative bitch who fits in well with the staff at team wellness in Southgate who acknowledged what was done to me was wrong but did NOTHING about it. NOTHING. My nightmares, my panic attacks, my emotional/mental and physical health has declined. I was fine before this. I was doing therapy taking my meds and putting in the hard work. Team Wellness in SOUTHGATE took that away from me!!!!! They will hurt you worse if you go here. I wanted to live before now I hate the nightmares and panic so bad I don't know anymore. The ONLY person who is worth seeing is the NP Mike Salinas. He showed compassion and tried to help me. Sadly, This office needs help...LITERALLY!!! My husband is schizoaffective and bipolar. This practice is the only one near us which accepts his insurance. Obviously, the owner is very profit driven because there is only one doctor, and he is almost always late seeing patients for their appointments. My husband went today for his shot. The nurse was behind schedule, and she should not have been. All she does is distribute prescriptions and give patients injections. Her job is easy, but I think she might be given too many appointments per day. It was a terrible experience today, and I wish it could change. The mentally ill should not be punished for being sick. They need compassionate care from people who truly care about them. read more

Team has lifted me up from the grief and anxiety I was holding on to. I would recommend highly. Beverly is a wonderful therapist.

I am convinced that they either don't know what they're doing or they don't care. For whatever reason, they must call me at some random time between 9am-5pm during some random weekday in order to setup an appointment for therapy or to see the doctor. I don't understand why they can't just make appointments after each one before I leave. My first therapist was very ineffective. It didn't feel like they were interested and they moved my therapy sessions to phone call only. Each therapy session with them felt like they were just agreeing with everything I said and just waiting until I was done talking. It felt like I was carrying the weight of our conversations and I wasn't getting anything out of it. They ask me what happened since the last session and if I couldn't say much, they would end the session immediately. One of the phone call therapy sessions was only a couple minutes. I informed them I wanted a change of therapist. They gave me a new therapist to talk to, but never changed it in their system.... so I got a call from the first therapist wondering where I am. The psychiatrist has given me medication that has, so far, not been working well. I have suffered severe side effects like tremors, slurring speech, and terrifying hallucinations for days. When I needed to talk to the psychiatrist due to my medication, I have to make an appointment with him. It can take days or weeks with how they make appointments here. They changed my case worker without telling me or giving me a reason. I haven't received a call for an appointment in weeks. I'm supposed to have therapy every 2 weeks, but it's well past that. I guess they either forgotten, or don't care. Either way, I'm done. Save yourself the headache. If you really need help, you can find it anywhere else. There's way better than this out there. I wish I bothered to look this place up before I became a patient. read more

Don't bother, first time they messed up the schedule, waited 45 minutes for therapist to no show. Rescheduled the next week and therapist calls me when I'm ten minutes from the office and says he's sick. Reschedule with him personally on the pnone for the next week and again, like the birthday clown he is, he no-shows. Total joke, don't waste your time with these people, especially if you're taking time out of your workday to be there. They couldn't care less. read more

She claimed 2 x 4 times a month seeing her. Over $200 for a half hour each time. (No insurance) therapist for counseling not a psychiatrist they are paid more by the way. read more

All of the Team wellness centers of Detroit especially Team Jefferson is an absolute joke. No real care or professional staff. Most probably aren't even qualified or certified to work in an environment like this. It's just a scheme for them to get money in their pockets. They treat everyone like dog shit, don't give you visitation as we should have. Or follow any of their own handbook policies. The State needs to shut this dump down, and do it fast. read more

Hands-down, the best program in or around the metro Detroit area! (Believe me I've been through them all) From Delisha's gorgeous face the first person you see when u walk in to Kim the best counselor ever to Sherry the woman who makes things happen to Zeinab & Margie who literally just kick all the ass on sum hella dope cool Sh*t all the way to the back where my man Samuels holdin ish down down to Antoinette, Mike, and Dr Chan they all are by far the best team I've ever encountered PERIOT. They genuinely care about u with the upmost sincerity. If there was a 6th star option this place would get it! Will be highly recommending this establishment to anyone looking for a quality program that actually cares about their patients and goes above and beyond for them! thank you so much team wellness Southgate you guys are f*ckn amazing! Just wait til you have that handful of pills, pick up your razor blade or loaded your gun then call 911 or their crises line. OMG! Second time there, still a mess. I made my appt over the phone standing in front of my calendar. I get there and OH! your appt was an hour earlier. Yeah like I don't know a 2 from a 3. Just looking at the building makes me wanna throw up now. I'm still trembling with anger after a half hour. They will create more anxiety in you than they can ever help you with. read more

This is the most unorganized place I have ever seen. Social workers, doctors, nurses working under one building and they DO NOT communicate with each other. You have to come in for an intake, then schedule an appt with a nurse and a psychiatrist. They will not all be on the same day. Probably weeks apart. I've been going for 4 years (I'm not sure why) and nothing but a headache when it comes to scheduling anything. Luckily I just use the services for medication and I am otherwise stable but I can see how this place would send someone into a crisis! Unorganized, unprofessional! I will be looking elsewhere for mental health services. read more
