My husband and I had considered selling our large home for some time after our children were gone, and downsizing to a low maintenance home. However, there just wasn't anything available that appealed to us and the market was still rebounding. We stopped thinking about it, and then we came upon a terrific new patio home community offering a few models that would meet our needs. The builder arranged for someone from Team Lassen to meet with us to go over the current value of our home. Sarah contacted us and the minute I met her, I was impressed. Sarah did the research on our area and comparable sales & listings, and we were happy to learn the value of our home would be sufficient to make a new home purchase. Although the market was great, and interest rates couldn't be better, being in our 60's our biggest concern/reservation was having to make two moves. Sarah talked about her experience with negotiating rent back arrangements, as well as what she proposed for timing the sale of our current home with the completion of the new home, and the many resources available to us through Team Lassen to market our home. We knew from our first meeting with Sarah that we would be in capable hands, so we decided to list our home through Sarah and Team Lassen, and buy a new patio home. When the timing was right per Sarah's suggestion, we listed our home, and the marketing materials were beautiful, and the internet exposure was superb. Soon after listing, we received a couple of offers and Sarah secured rent back agreements as promised, however the offers fell through due to buyer issues. We were discouraged and thinking of giving up, and Sarah reassured us she could get the deal done for us. About a month later, we received multiple offers on our home, and Sarah negotiated a higher sales price in addition to the rent back agreement we needed with a solid buyer. Finally we were able to look ahead to a future in our new home, and Sarah was at our side for every milestone along the way. Her professionalism, responsiveness, skill, and compassion far exceeded our expectations, and we consider ourselves very fortunate to have her not only as our realtor, but as a new friend. read more

We'd like to offer up our opinion of doing business with Team Lassen through Charles Souza and his team. The first thing we observed came through the initial call into the office. Someone quickly set up an appointment for Charles to come out and speak with us about selling our home. We spent a thoughtful amount of time talking about the current market. Since there were a few things that needed to be addressed in our house after the inspection, Charles, through his team at Lassen called in the necessary contractors to make sure everything was corrected. Every member of his team that we had relationship with (Natalie and Anoma) was excellent at recommending the necessary contractors to do the work we needed. Natalie scheduled all the contractors and followed up with them all to make sure the work was completed. The quality resources Team Lassen provided, such as a stager, house photographer, electrician, plumber, yard maintenance, house inspector, HVAC, etc. was impressive. While work was being done to get our house finalized for closing, another part of the team was working with us to find the next house we would move to. We worked with Anoma on that front, who was very friendly, professional and helpful. She showed us houses to consider in the area where we wanted to move and researched answers to many questions we had along the way. It seemed that everyone we worked with was on top of their game. It should be noted that any time we had a question, if we didn't get Charles directly on the phone, we always received a call back very quickly, most times within the hour. We always felt the information Charles shared with us about selling and buying was honest, straight forward and to the point. He met with us regularly in person to bring us up-to-date with what was happening during the whole process. We found him and his team's explanations of contracts and other paper work a simple process. We couldn't be more pleased with the all-around effort that Charles and his team provided us in selling our home and buying another one. I would highly recommend Team Lassen to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. Thank you so much!!! read more

I've recently purchased a new home and want to share my experience with the folks @Metro Brokers - Team Lassen. I used to work with Jeff Jackson and knew he joined Team Lassen a few years ago and I've seen how Team Lassen continues to get awards for being a top brokerage firm in Colorado. I've bought four houses and have sold three throughout the years using other brokers, and I've never worked with a true "Team" working together to help their clients out. The Denver market is competitive. Jeff connected me with an automated query he set up on the MLS based on my requirements. When a new home was listed, I would get an email telling me about the listing. We visited one house, it wasn't right. The second house produced by the query looked like it had terrific potential. We went and visited the house, and with Jeff's assistance, we made a competitive offer appropriate for the market. What I didn't expect was the continued follow up made by Barbara. Barbara works with Team Lassen and she is absolutely amazing at keeping everyone on point, and working to ensure all contractual deadlines are met. She worked with my Mortgage Broker - Jonathan Kelly at Megastar Financial as well as the title company and their representatives to ensure earnest money and down payment requirements were met, and that documentation was completed as required. She kept the communication alive and the transaction flowing. I closed on the house on August 31 but because of some requirements and concessions between myself and the buyer, we have an outstanding issue that requires some follow up with an outside vendor. Team Lassen continues to follow through to ensure requirements of the sale are adhered to until all of these requirements are completed. Buying a home is a stressful process and the folks at Team Lassen are unlike any other agency I have worked with. It is a pleasure, and they truly work together as a team to ensure the transaction is as stress free and as good an experience as shopping for a new home should be. read more

We have used Jeff Jackson in the past to sell our home and help us find a new home. We decided to build since the market was so volatile. Jeff stayed by out sides through the entire build. He dealt with the promises of the salesperson and made sure everything that was discussed was completed. He also dealt with the builder to make sure the home was built to our plans. Our decision to move again came at an important time because we wanted to move closer to our children, but it came at a time that our country was struggling with COVID19. This process was fraught with many new hurdles and challenges to be able to sell our home and to purchase a new one. Jeff rose to the occasion to not only help us negotiate this process but to navigate the new requirements for the real estate marketplace during this pandemic. We safely completed everything needed to purchase and sell our home. With this move, Jeff provided a stager that had ideas of what to pack and remove from the home so that the house showed fabulously. The home sold quickly, and we were able to find our new home that we are absolutely in love with. We will never use a different realtor. Jeff Jackson knows all areas in Colorado. He is extremely polite, friendly, does not get frustrated if we asked to see certain houses even though he knew we would not like them. He is truly an amazing person and an outstanding Realtor. Thank you so much Jeff Jackson, Team Lassen Realty! Natalie was amazing to ensure all our documentation was sent to us promptly and timely ensuring the sales and purchase process continued smoothly. Even in times that we missed signing documents, she followed up to make sure we did not miss critical deadlines. She was very personable and always responded whenever we reached out to her. Natalie is extremely beneficial for Team Lassen! Thank you, Jeff, and Natalie! Michael & Nancy Bray read more

I did not know Charles Souza and had not heard of Team Lassen before we were introduced to them by the builder of our new home community. Within 10 minutes of our first meeting, I felt completely at ease with Charlie's transparent and empathetic outlook on the home buying process. Charlie took the time to listen to our story, understand the effort and time we had put into our home of twelve years and then he laid out a clear and simple plan for the sale process and what hurdles we could expect along the way. We then chose a listing date and from there it was all communication all the time. Not only were Charlie and his team great communicators but they surrounded us with support. From staging to professional photography and marketing, every detail was handled and our home was beautifully shown. Over the coming weeks, the communication continued to be outstanding and the showings were well managed and easy. Ultimately we ran into one of the hurdles Charlie had told us was a possibility early on. Because of his candor early in the process, we were not surprised and again Charlie was right there in our kitchen to help us find a creative solution that fit our needs, but more than that it fit our tolerance for risk and stress. He was able to help because he had listened along the way and understood what my wife and I felt most strongly about and grasped our personalities. Charlie and his team are undoubtedly professional people running a successful business, but in the end, they are people who sleep well at night because they treat their clients with honesty, respect, and empathy. I have already mentioned my experience with Team Lassen to my family and closest friends and will continue to recommend them every chance I get. My family absolutely loves our new home and it would not have been possible without Team Lassen. Thank you Charlie! read more

The entire Team Lassen goes above and beyond to ensure that the buying/selling process goes as smooth and as easy as possible. When something comes up during the process, everyone jumps into bring a positive resolution. In the current crazy home market, their expertise and experience was a blessing! I both sold and bought my current home through Team Lassen. Throughout both transactions, they were constantly keeping me updated, organized and informed. No question was too small or too many! They have been a great resource for contractor referrals including HVAC, handyman services, and locksmiths. During the selling process, Sarah Lassen provided strong market knowledge and experience to ensure that my home sale was smooth and that I received the best offer possible. Her behind the scenes work was not missed and ensured I received well above asking price and even a rent back flexibility until I closed on my new home. During the buying process I worked with Anoma Perera, one of the real estate agents with Team Lassen. Her skills, patience and professionalism really made the process as stress free as it could be. Through numerous house showings, multiple offers placed and the challenges of working with a less then professional seller's agent on the other side of the deal, she kept me focused on the goal at hand - getting the deal closed. She made me feel like I was working with a family friend, not just an agent on a deal. She was always responsive to my questions, concerns, and frustrations. I couldn't have stayed sane during the process without her! She helped me get the house that was right for me, at the price that was right. I would highly recommend working with Team Lassen for all of your real estate needs! They helped me get to the place I love calling home! read more

Team Lassen was a referral from my parents who used Charlie to sell their old home and buy their new one 7 years ago! As soon as I decided I wanted to buy a house - I knew I didn't want to work with anyone else! For my purchase I worked with Sarah, Charlie and Tim! They as a team worked so flawlessly together that I couldn't have imagined my experience going any better. Whenever I had questions or was in my typical "freak out stage" they ALWAYS answered their phone right away and put my mind at ease. They checked up on me frequently to make sure that I was doing okay and if I had any questions. During my final walk-through, Sarah took my phone and filmed the entire thing for me so I would have it saved on my phone if I had questions later on down the road, and so that I was able to focus on the walk-through in present time. She helped pick out flaws that needed to be fixed on my home before I moved in, she really had my back! During closing, she was so supportive and answered any questions I had about the massive stack of papers I was signing my life away to! And after it was all said and done, she was genuinely happy and excited for me and this new phase of my life. And even to this day Sarah and Charlie both check in on me to see how I'm doing and how much I love my house. I could not have picked a better team to go through buying my first house with! When the time comes in the future, I will always go to Team Lassen for future sells and purchases! Thanks Team Lassen! :) read more

The experience that my husband and I have had with Anoma Perera and her team has been a joy throughout what can sometimes become a very stressful process. As first-time home sellers in addition to first-time new build buyers, we've been full of questions and Anoma has been amazing at answering all of them and helping to guide us through the process which we truly had very little knowledge of. Upon recommendation, we called Team Lassen on a Saturday afternoon and our voicemail was returned promptly within 30 minutes or so. We were able to set up an initial consultation for the next day and the selling journey began for us quite seamlessly after that. We greatly appreciated the transparency and industry knowledge that Anoma displayed during our initial consultation as well as throughout the process. Had we listed our home when we thought was a good time to list based on when our new build would be complete, we would just now be going on the market and be entering it at a very challenging time. We listened to Anoma's advice for the best time to list, we followed her advice, listed earlier, and were under contract in a little over 24 hours. She helped us negotiate an excellent rent back with the new owner and we couldn't be happier with our experience. Anoma and her team have been nothing but consummate professionals and we can only say wonderful things about them. Excellent, excellent, excellent group that we can't recommend enough. read more

Absolute terrible experience with this Real Estate property management company. I along with my room mates were looking to rent a home, viewed a property Team Lassen was representing. Decided on renting the home, I had asked to review the lease up front and was told NO. Well after I gave them $150 to approve 3 tenants, and getting thus getting approved, I red the lease and had a few issues. The yard was completely dead, large yard and I asked for the owner/s to pay water bill for a few months, it needed massive amounts of water to revive it. One of their staff drove out and discovered it was dead, and agreed to pay for watering it. Lease stated we were responsible for blowing out sprinklers, I have owned 3 houses and rented 2 in my 20 years in the Denver area...never have I heard of a tenant being responsible for blowing out sprinklers. I can see in the spring time if something went wrong I would be responsible. It wasn't the $50 fee for it I had a problem with, it was being responsible....and if there was a problem I would have to get a hold of sprinkler guy....no, I don't think so, so I asked for the property manager to take care of a property manager's issue....they said NO and said we are not going to rent it to you..so I am out $150.00. And I have been a Realtor in CO for 15 years, never had such a bad experience with a un-professional Real Estate company.....Randy S. read more

We worked with Sarah Park and highly recommend her. My husband and I are 68 and 65. We relocated to CO from Chicago during Covid. We were going to come out to CO in April to view homes and could no longer do so. However, Sarah was wonderful in going to every home we chose online and taking very thorough videos explaining everything she saw while walking thru the property. Obviously, we were not familiar with the Denver area. We moved out here to be with our grandsons and Sarah drove to every home we chose online within a 30 minute drive from their home in Littleton. Since we were out of state and had not yet closed on our home the first 6 or 7 offers Sarah submitted for us were rejected. She ensured the sellers we had a contract and a closing date from our buyer but it did not matter. However, Sarah did not give up. She empathized how emotionally difficult and overwhelming this was. She held our hands long distance every step of the way. She gave us her honest opinion about the homes and neighborhoods. She was very patient and respectful. She never got frustrated with the effort it took on her end to find us not only a great home but a seller willing to work with us. Everyone was great at Team Lassen in helping us close on the home. They are a great company and you should definitely choose Sarah to help you find the perfect home and/or sell your current one. read more

After Sarah helped us sell our first home in 2014 (in a seamless transaction where we received a full-priced offer within a week of listing the home), I fell for the common misperception that "all agents are basically the same." We let another agent list the home we needed to sell after preemptively purchasing our dream home. Our old house sat on the market for nearly 5 months - with not even the hint of an offer in sight. We were stretched thin with two mortgages and feeling very discouraged being able to sell this house. We learned the hard way, not everyone does what Team Lassen does. Team Lassen is truly something extraordinary. We met with Sarah on Monday evening; she had everything transitioned from the old agent and the new listing up by Friday morning. We had a very good offer within a couple of weeks and closed less than 30 days after accepting that offer. Sarah Lassen is the best in the business. It's as simple as that. She's impressively responsive, incredibly knowledgeable, and one of the hardest working women I know. Through these transactions, she has become someone I deeply respect and truly admire. When we first met her, I remember her saying, "I know that I have to earn it, every single time." And she does. If you want a second-rate agent, go ahead and look elsewhere. But if you want the absolute best, call Sarah Lassen. read more

TeamLassen is comprised of a knowledgeable group of real-estate professionals that understood our needs from the very beginning. Our Realtor for both the selling side and subsequent buying side was Charlie Souza. We interviewed Charlie along with three other Realtors for the selling side, and his pricing, presentation, knowledge and immediate answers to a full list of detailed listing questions was simply refined and impeccable. Choosing Charlie to list our home in February 2015 was an easy choice and now that the sale of our home is behind us, he and TeamLassen was absolutely the right choice. What we really liked about TeamLassen is that they actively managed the transaction from beginning to end - we rarely had to lift a finger. Yes, we had to be involved, but TeamLassen supplied all of the contractual and listing knowledge and know-how, including their pre-screened list of professionals to help us prepare our home for sale and closing (included stagers, HVAC professionals, Handymen and Movers - all of which we used). Natalie who works with Charlie and TeamLassen is absolutely amazing - courteous, knowledgeable, upbeat, and very timely in communication and follow-up. I would absolutely use Charlie and Natalie from TeamLassen again and would recommend them to my family and friends. read more

I would highly recommend working with Team Lassen for all of your real estate needs! First of all, we worked with Anoma Perera, one of the real estate agents with Team Lassen. She made us feel like we were her only customers, as she was so responsive to our questions, concerns, and needs. Anoma also made us feel like we were family; she guided us in the house search with her knowledge and expertise and made sure that we were getting all of our must-haves without burdening ourselves in any kind of way. We couldn't have done it without her! In addition, we have worked with Team Lassen for over eight years now, including buying our first house, recently buying our second house, and having them manage our first house as a rental. We are so excited to start this new endeavor and could not and would not have done it without Team Lassen! Lastly, Charlie Souza, co-owner of Team Lassen, is the main reason we began and continue to work with Team Lassen. He is the real estate agent, who helped us to buy our very first house. He has always been very honest about the process and really has kept our best interest in mind. In addition, he is hilarious and fun to work with! After 8 years, we consider Team Lassen family and would recommend them for all of your real estate needs! read more

My wife and I recently sold a house in Aurora, CO with Team Lassen. They were absolutely awesome, and I can sum up why in two reasons that I think will give you a taste of whether you'd want to go with them. 1) When going through comps and helping us set a list price, our agent Sarah told us how much we should start at, but had a very specific plan to get the most value for our home. It worked. We ended up walking away with $15,000 above asking price. 2) Through this process we made friends with a lady on the team named Natalie. We made friends because Natalie handled, well, all of it. When we began this process my wife was working full-time and I was in the midst of finishing grad school, so we both had ample outside commitments. Natalie made things great because you'd get an e-mail from her saying, "This form needs signed. Click this box, hit save, and you're done", or "You guys agreed to this repair following the inspection. The contractor is scheduled for this time on this day, and can get in with the key if needed." Natalie, and the rest of the team, took the odd and end things that aren't complicated but eat time and handled them all. It was beautiful. These guys did amazing for us. I'm pretty sure that's how they do business across the board. read more

The group at Team Lassen is nothing short of phenomenal. I have had the honor of working with this team on three occasions (selling) and 1 occasion (purchasing) over the past 10 years and they have always delivered above and beyond my expectations. Whether the market has been up or down, Charles Souza has managed to sell three of my homes within very tight deadlines; one home sold within 3 months, one home within 4 days and my last home in 24 hours, and on all occasions, closings were on time and left a generous amount of money in my pocket. On the purchasing side, Charlie has worked endlessly to educate me on purchasing the best possible home, in the best neighborhoods, making resale more profitable. Charlie goes out of his way to deliver to his clients. He has met and exceeded my (very high) expectations in every way possible. Tim also worked with me on the lending side and walked me through each step of the process to ensuring the smoothest and seamless closing imaginable. I can't thank he and his team enough for their expertise, drive to get things done, and customer service. A team this devoted to their customers, who manages to deliver time and time again, is nothing short of amazing these days and Team Lassen is exactly this! read more

My family and I wanted to live in our own home. I asked Charlie Souza for help to achieve this long-awaited dream for us. As immigrants, living in this beautiful state of Colorado, it was very important to have a home of our own to continue raising our daughters with good values and principles. Charlie was very patient and helped us in this process of searching and buying the perfect house. We are very grateful to him and his team for having guided us in each step and with each necessary procedure. Definitely, Team Lassen is made up of great professionals in the real estate business. I have had the pleasure of working with Team Lassen for over eight years and have done multiple transactions with them. I knew from the first time I worked with Team Lassen that they were very good at what they did, but it wasn't until my last time working them - as I relocated out of state - that I learned how much better they are than everyone else. Team Lassen does so much to go above and beyond and truly make it easy to buy a home, sell a home, or both that other agencies simply don't do. And something I learned by using two agencies at the same time. From involvement ahead of time to help get your home ready for not just a quick sale, but for a maximized profit. To coordination on anything and everything that happens after you accept an offer, and making that as stress-free as possible. On the buying side, they take the time to really listen about what matters in your home search, and help to focus you in, then have the proper expertise to help you craft the right offer and ensure the home you get is the home you will love. To anyone looking for a realtor, I cannot recommend anyone higher that Team Lassen - Shara, Tim, Charlie, Anoma, Natalie, and the rest of the team! read more

Team Lassen is an unbelievable Real Estate company. My initial encounter with the team was nearly 4 years ago, when my wife and I refinanced our home. Team Lassen was very proactive and initiated many of the requirements, which was helpful since we did not know the business very well at the time. After effectively servicing our loan, they remained in touch with more than the standard drab, signature stamped birthday card. They actually kept in touch and was readily available when we needed them. When it was time to downsize our Broomfield home, we again turned to Team Lassen...and they did not disappoint! Their industry acumen placed us in prime position--well ahead of others sellers--and as a result, Team Lassen sold our home very early in the real estate season. They even supported us getting settled into our new home. This team is The Real Deal and premier in the industry. These guys are warm, friendly, extremely intelligent and incredibly helpful! They also throw "kick-ass" holiday parties! Simply put, they're the best around! Thanks for all you do Team Lassen, you guys have our devoted loyalty for life! Tracy & Capri Neely read more
