Here's what I suspect (and I say "suspect" because customer service never explained): the bag was on display in the store for a prolonged period of time and suffered sun damage. Was there any indication of discoloration in the product description? Nope. It's actually appalling, the damage is so bad. Like over $350-for-a-redye bad. Thankfully, even though the item was final sale, customer service did rectify the situation with a full refund. I'm so sad though...that behno bag is sold out everywhere. I hope Rowe reexamines how they handle delicate merchandise like suede so that the quality isn't compromised. I would've expected higher standards from an upscale boutique.

The cashiers were not the best. The stood there having a personal conversation for two minutes (yes I timed them.). Once their story to each other was finished they were engaging w/customers and good, but I unappreciated (greatly) being ignored and not rung up in a timely manner. Nordstroms policies are slipping. So is their merchandise selections. I just didn't feel there was any value or savings to most of the items that were there today. Katya had snacks and champagne for us to indulge in while we shopped and tried on clothes. When I was told the shop specialized in caftans I wasn't quite sure what to expect. How many vintage caftans can a studio hold? First, not all of the caftans are vintage. Some are newer fabrics paired with older designs. Second, there are also jewelry, hats, rompers, dresses, and shoes! Third, there was more than one room so take your time so you can explore all of the space and find items you like. If we had a question about any item such as care (vintage sometimes comes without care labels) or approximate size in today's world, Katya was able to assist. Nowadays she has items available on her site and on Facebook. You can even sign up for the S.R. Provisions monthly subscription for $35 where a box of items curated around a them is sent to you. On December 30th 2023 I was shopping with family in Polaris and said what the heck let's give another go. This time I can honestly say I had some of the best customer service I've had in a long while. Every single employee that I engage with was super nice and very professional. Not to mention that the deals that were going on in the store at the time I was there were amazing I appreciate a good deal. It wouldn't have been fair to the establishment to write them off based off one distasteful interaction I had. The Customer Service alone is the reason why I decided to do another review and give a five star rating.
