Random Vietnamese food next to a gas station. More than boba, very good pho and spring rolls. Really good!

On a cold night when I was battling some sort of flu, I sought to alleviate it with a hot pho soup. Unfortunately, my experience at Tealicious was very unpleasant. I was already weary about my wife wanting to try a pho place located at a gas station, but I decided to give it a shot. When we arrived, the place was completely empty. As soon as we walked in, there was a foul smell that seemed like it was being masked with the strong fragrance of dishwashing soap. After speaking with the young girl at the register, we ordered what she said was the most popular item, the #1 Pho Special with rare steak, brisket, tendon, tripe, and beef ball. While we waited, I went to wash my hands and noticed the bathroom was very poorly kept, which was another red flag. When the food finally arrived, I was a bit grossed out to see visible blood on some of the meat. I figured that wouldn't be an issue since the meat usually cooks itself in the hot broth, but that's where the biggest problem came in. The broth was only lukewarm. Even though I'm not a huge fan of extremely hot food, pho should be steaming, especially on a cold night. I tried eating some because I was hungry, but I couldn't get past how warm it was. We let the girl who served us know, and she kindly offered to microwave it. While not ideal, we agreed. When it came back, it was still nowhere near the temperature pho should be. It was honestly impossible to enjoy, especially compared to other pho restaurants. We ultimately asked for a refund, which they were kind enough to provide. What stood out to me was that after our food was served, the workers seemed to be debating what temperature pho should be served at. One mentioned the boss trained them one way, while another claimed something different. That lack of consistency was concerning. I do want to add that the young lady who helped us was very professional, polite, and kind throughout the entire experience. Unfortunately, good service alone couldn't make up for the poor food quality and improper temperature of such a traditional dish. For that reason, I would not return nor recommend this place if you're looking for good pho. There's definitely room for improvement, especially from a management standpoint. read more

Lately I've been noticing that they have not been filling up the containers with broth. I kindly ask the Ladie worker if she can just pour a little bit more broth in the container because it was looking a little empty, she said that was gonna be an extra charge so then I asked her if she can pour a little bit more into my other bowl she said again that's gonna be an extra charge then I ask if she can put another lemon because I was sharing once again she said that's gonna be an extra charge, but this is what really did it as well when I ask if I can have an extra packet of Sriracha and hoisin sauce that was gonna be an extra charge I said wow I never got charged extra just for something that I've already paid for .. using my last $40 to support your business. I said no worries. I'll just use the Sriracha and hoisin sauce the one that are on the table and I'll just Pour it into my bowl. She said I cannot do that because I have a 2 go order and if I was gonna use the sauce on the table, that was gonna be an extra charge ..this is really ridiculous!! Management please fix this I tried reaching out and they said that this place is under new management, but no one will give me the phone number directly to the owner.. if it's gonna be like this, I'm taking my business elsewhere.. you're only losing customers because I know I'm not the only one. read more

this place was such a surprising hidden gem my parents and i randomly stopped at a gas station in victorville during our 5 hour road trip- we were tired and extremely hungry and saw that this place was serving pho!! went in with absolutely zero expectations- all we wanted was something to munch on for the rest of the drive. we ordered their basic pho and and two drinks (mangolicious and the strawberry matcha). the broth of the pho was excellent!!! extremely flavorful... the side vegetables offered were quite fresh. my parents both enjoyed their drinks, saying that they were delicious, and they loved how both drinks used fresh fruit and no artificial flavoring. it's the next day and i'm still thinking about the pho. not to mention that they only had ONE employee basically manning the place with taking orders, cooking, fixing the drinks, and cleaning. we noticed that he was extremely efficient in getting the orders out the droves of people stopping by, and he treated each customer including us, with impeccable respect and hospitality. very detailed care for each group of customers. this will definitely be a Vietnamese restaurant i look forward to revisiting when we drive to and from los angeles again. check it out if you get the chance! read more

First time here and it's amazing., had the Pho # 5 didn't take a before pic, I dove right in after tasting their fresh boba, it was a wrap. The soup in the broth is fresh full of flavors and nothing else is needed to be added like I normally do anywhere else... the egg rolls was good as well., nothing but fresh tasting flavors.. not to mention the service is very pleasant and provides you with excellent service and quality he even mentioned how long the soup has been simmering for the great flavor with no add powder for flavors. Got their shrimp spring rolls and oh my gosh, it was so refreshing. Hopefully one day, they can add pork belly to the shrimp spring rolls. Service was good, the restaurant was nice and cozy. Went in here today on a road trip stop and saw it was their soft opening! They have all sorts of tea/milk tea, boba and jelly boba, and slushees. I believe they also serve pho as well. The manager/owner was super sweet and recommended a green Thai tea over a regular Thai milk tea and it was delicious. read more

HOLY. I live in San Diego and the boba there is not nearly as good as here. The boba is sweet with a great texture. I got the Thai tea which was pretty good but my friend got the Taro smoothie and it was amazing wish I got that instead. Must come by on a blazing hot day !!!
