When I asked they told me the picture was misleading since they don't put boba in the matcha - but they said they would put it in mine if I wanted them to open the seal. I let them add it - bc why not? The drink was absolutely delicious. One of the best matchas I've had. The price was almost $8 which I thought was insane bc it is muuuuuch cheaper to get matcha in Philly.
