(For our dear Erasmus students, that are always asking where to hang out and have a 'tinto')
Tea & Coffee is probably the bar with the greatest academic atmosphere, where surely you'll find an university student having a beer at any hour (even at classtime). Located next to several different restaurants and pubs, the establishment is decorated like a pub: full of green-painted lumber, divided in two parts (connected by a corridor that surrounds the bar's counter), equiped with some computers and Full-HD TVs and a lot of tables both inside and outside. The waiters are young people (as the customers), they are very kind and they'll attend you in a proper way.
Although you can order something for eating (pre-cooked dishes), the Tea & Coffee's fame comes from the drinks: they have a lot of different beverages (most of them alcoholic, of course) as various spanish beers, some europeans ones, or the 'tinto de verano' (mix of spanish 'tinto' wine and soda or lemon) between others products. The factor that differences this bar from the others is the price of their products: you can drink a jar of beer or 'tinto de verano' for just 1€.
In conclussion, Tea & Coffee is a typical students bar, usually full of them (probably you won't find an available table). A good option to have a drink and hang out with your friends during a hot sevillian night. read more
