I was on my drive home in desperate need of a pick me up and Tea Plus did the trick! I was looking for something with a lower caffeine content since it was later in the afternoon. The staff member was very knowledgeable about the caffeine contents and recommended a fruit tea. I got the passion fruit tea with tapioca and was just the treat I needed. I got 50% sweet which was perfectly sweet. It's located in a very unassuming shopping plaza and could definitely be missed as the plaza is lifted kind of up on a hill. Simple, but when it's done well, boba tea doesn't need any bells or whistles. And this one was done well. The tea tasted fresh, not syrupy, and the pearls had that perfect chewy resistance that I'm always looking for. It's been a few years since I updated this review, so I got new TEA to spill! I didn't mean to rhyme, but dang that was a good line. OK but for real... if it's the mango orange green tea, the only place I'm spilling it is in my mouth and down to my stomach. I like to get 50% sugar, as it doesn't come off as too sweet or too bitter. The fact that you can adjust your sweetness to your liking will always be a PLUS. The tea is a palate cleanser to all my meals. I can be full and still want a MOGT. Refreshing! Looove this place for bubble tea! My husband raves about this place all the time, and always brings our visiting friends to this shop. They have tons of options from milk teas, specialty drinks, smoothies, to fresh fruit teas, and even have snacks as well! Parking can be difficult at night because there is a night club nearby that takes all the spots. During the day parking is fine though. So I am a lover of boba tea and this place wasn't the absolute best but it certainly wasn't the worst either. I was meeting someone in the area and decided to give this place a try after reading the reviews. It's located directly across the street from the parking garage for the Hardrock Hotel. The parking lot is decently sized, but as I have frequented this plaza before, I know it tends to get very full with a nightclub/restaurant being next door. I ordered a Taro Milk Tea with boba. It came out to $6.96 which is a bit pricey in comparison to other places I've been where I've enjoyed my tea a little better, but again, it wasn't bad. The shop is super cute and clean and I was in and out within 10 minutes, including a potty break (bathroom was very clean and customer use only--have to have a key to access it, which I appreciate). I discovered Tea Plus a while back when eating at Lemon Grass Hot Pot next door. I typically get the same the, the Galaxy. It's pretty and has a nice tartness that I like. Service is just there. The staff is friendly and helpful. They offer various fresh brewed tea drinks, fruity drinks, milk teas, etc. I love Thai iced teas and they make the best. So refreshingly delicious. I've also tried some of their other teas and they were all well made and tasty. These teas also sit well on my tummy. In the past, at other places, they have given me an upset stomach. Found this place driving from Fort Lauderdale to Miami and it was good. We didn't see a lot of boba/tea places on the map especially in Fort Lauderdale where we were. Decided to get the super fruit tea because you can't mess up on a typical drink with just tea and fresh fruits in it. The tea was flavorful and the fruit were yummy. The cup was pretty nice and sturdier than the typical cups at other places. Friend got the honeydew milk tea and that was also really good. It did not taste powdery and refreshing. We have been loving this place during COVID because they do pickup RIGHT and make it so easy. I do have my frustrations with their website, but it's very easy and contact-free to pick up your orders. They make them on the spot as you place your online order and take only about 5 minutes to prepare. I think Tea Plus has the best boba pearls in the area! They are so sweet and je ne sais quoi...is it maple flavor, caramel, something else? Not sure but they are super tasty. They also have very pretty drinks with good quality, ripe, fruit slices in most flavors. My favorite flavor so far is grapefruit. My ONE qualm is that they call their "salty cream foam" cheese foam. Located right across from the entrance of the Hard Rock is Tea Plus, one of the newer boba tea places that has opened in this area of Davie. The interior is bright and clean. The menu has lots of variety including fresh brewed teas with cheese foam, milk teas, tea lattes, fruits teas, probiotic drinks, and Frappuccino's. Toppings are extra and include boba, pudding, grass jelly, red bean, lychee coconut jelly, crystal boba, and cheeses foam. I love that you adjust the sugar level to 20, 50, or 75%. I went with my standard Grapefruit Green Tea, 50% sugar, with boba. For me, this drink has the perfect balance of tartness and sweetness. I try this drink all over and Tea Plus made a really nice version of it. With pulp and grapefruit slices, you could tell there was real grapefruit juice in it. When we got to Tea Plus, it is super hot since their AC was down. We ordered taro smoothies, mango green tea with cheese foam, and their popcorn chicken. Taro smoothies is good, popcorn chicken is excellent. However, they made my mango green tea wrong twice. The third time is ok, but not great. Possibly one of the very best Boba shops in all at the country and definitely the best in Florida, in terms of authenticity and taste, for the taste element maybe it's nearly tied with Hanji down the road which is more Boba Guys-style, and does it very well, and also the one up and let's north of Tampa (Sweettea Cafe in Lutz, I believe). These are my three favourites in the state - and if I had to pick a clear favourite it would be this one. If you accidentally rip off a scab in your excitement to drink this drink, don't blame me if it causes Tea Pus. Massive kudos for their authenticity and even though wait times can get long when it's busy, which it is sometimes, it definitely takes the Boba standard of South Florida up several notches in terms of authenticity and taste and healthy-tasting products and willingness to adjust drinks to my taste - and for just all-around awesomeness. I've seen this new Tea Plus a couple times now and we finally made it in here. It's right next to one of my favorite eateries, Lemongrass Hot Pot. It's actually a nice complementary addition to the all-you-can-eat hot pot next door assuming you still have enough stomach space left over and you're not rolling out of there like a bowling ball. Anyhow, we ordered a Strawberry Green Tea with Cheese Foam. It was delicious, refreshing, and quite beautiful. Tea Plus was very generous with the amount of cheese foam given. Good for me because I can't not order the cheese foam. Service was ok. Not the most attentive even although we were the only ones there. The magical thing about Tea Plus is that you can alter the amount of sugar or sweetness level to your drinks. Another really cool thing about this place is that you can order your drinks and take it the restaurant literally right next door. (No, seriously, it's become a thing, this is what we did). I ordered the Thai tea latte with egg pudding. Egg pudding custard has recently become my newest obsession so I have been ordering it everywhere. I really appreciated that the thai tea wasn't so sweet. And the egg pudding added that extra kick of sweetness and texture to the drink. My friend and I stumbled upon Tea Plus to satisfy our craving for some delicious bubble tea. The venue is located in a small shopping center directly across from the Hard Rock Guitar. The parking lot is slightly tight and busy given the night club next door, so parking was a little difficult. Upon entry, each customer is greeted promptly by a little motion sensor that excitedly shouts, 'hello"! Cute but it must be slightly annoying to the poor employees, haha! The inside of Tea Plus is very bright and clean. There are two tables inside for those interested in indoor dining. They have an extensive tea menu behind the counter, as well as paper copies for customers to eagerly choose from. Unsure of what to order? Just ask your friendly server. The servers were very knowledgeable about their menu and were eager to suggest their favorite tea recommendations and combos. Drinks were ordered, prepped, and served all under 5 minutes! Many of their teas can be ordered as small or large and customers can even indicate their preference for sweetness level. Just be wary that toppings are extra (each varies per price). I ordered the mixed berry green tea with bubble tea. Unfortunately, however, their fruit teas only come in one standard size, large, which seemed a little unfair for me who only wanted a small tea. The drink itself was decent for it's worth, but I expected to have real-fruit pieces inside like my friend's mango orange green tea had. Although it's my own personal bias, I think I would've liked the tea better if there were more "natural fruit sugars" than artificial.
