Bodega / Grocery, has a ton of stuff, open pretty late (compared to other small grocers in the area) most nights of the week.

I really enjoyed visiting S.mart! You can't go wrong with anything you buy here…read more I spent less than $20 and got a decent amount of stuff: Black Truffle Velvet Mashed Potato Pringles Ritz Crackers with Chocolate Matcha Chocolates Watermelon Konjac jelly pack Japanese Oreos Gift Box (not pictured) So far, I've had the Oreos, Matcha Chocolate and the Pringles. All were pretty solid! The Pringles remind me of something other than mashed potatoes but I can't put my finger on it. The Oreos are all different flavors and are slightly thinner than the Oreos sold here in the US. The flavor I tried was White Peach and Crystal Grape. Interesting combination to mix with chocolate but it was actually tasty. The matcha chocolate doesn't taste like chocolate. The matcha flavor is very strong and it tastes like you're biting into a block of matcha but with the consistency of chocolate. I wasn't helped by anyone besides the cashier so I can't speak too much on the staff but overall I was able to navigate the store without any questions. The store is a little tight especially when you're sharing the aisles with other people. My understanding is that the S.mart directly next door is owned by the same family and is a store specializing in skincare. They share the same name but sell different items. Great selection of international treats and a nice place for gifts, too!

No doubt about it, this spot is a 5/5. We picked up 1 full Adranos, half a fig pig, and half a…read moreFranklin. As soon as I opened up the adranos, I noticed the sesame seeds were super aromatic coming off the bread. The sandwich itself was delicious although I would have liked slightly more oil & vinegar. The franklin was the favorite of the 3 sandwiches we tried. The turkey was really good and I loved the bacon jam with arugula pairing. The fig pig was also good but a little heavy on the cheese. It was sweeter than the Franklin even though both had jam. The prosciutto was god tier. Really meaty and moist. While I was waiting for my sandwich I noticed 4 other people come in and order the fig pig! The cashier told me that the Franklin is one of the most popular. Service was very friendly and ingredients are fresh & high quality. Inside is small- just a counter to order with the sandwich making station behind it. There's also a small market. There were a couple of small outdoor tables which was nice. I'd come back in a heartbeat.

The bacon jam on the Franklin really stood out and made it memorable. The shop itself has fun offerings to peruse while you wait for your order and the staff was chatty so what little waiting you do isn't bad at all. The prices seemed reasonable, especially for what you get.
