I have been so hesitant to write this review but now that I am in the right frame of mind and can accurately put into words how awful this company is might as well write it... So where does one start? Oh I know ordering me checks telling me they will be delivered to my house, waiting for almost 3 months for them then being told that they are at the bank. Which I opened the account at, an hour away and they can't send them out. Apparently I was supposed to have been told this information at the beginning but Mr. TD left this out when I was opening my account. So I drive the hour and they're there. At least they were there. Maybe that's the one star? Banking always has its ups and downs. But when a bank consistently is down more than up you have to worry. The service was never quick, efficient or even accurate. The people were nothing wonderful, not anything like what Regis and Kelly advertise now. Unless they did a complete overhaul and got rid of everyone who couldn't or wouldn't answer questions accurately or even at all. By the end of my sentence with these people I was more than 400 bucks in unnecessary fees and the only way for them to reverse them and even offer a resemblance of an apology was to contact the Better Business Bureau after trying to go through their useless, contradicting and condescending bureaucracy. Customer Service is not a term the people I dealt with through this company understand, try to implement or seem to notice. I left, and as I said had to contact the BBB(http://www.BBB.org) to get my money back and to close my account. Even though their rules clearly stated, even in the fine print, that I did nothing wrong but instead of adhering to their own standards I was charged with unnecessary fee on top of unnecessary fee until I had enough. This is your basic drive up teller type bank. No walk up tellers, Just the drive up ATM and tellers. The bank portion is actually a little hard to find. It is around the back of a real estate office. The return to Route 127 is not an easy feat. You need to conduct an illegal U turn. I like using the drive up tellers and ATM. I do not like the bank's location. read more

I have been a long time customer of TD North and have always had a good relationship with their tellers, however since this Covid lockdown and their new hours, they seem to have re-staffed our local bank with new faces. I went in there to deposit cash and checks. The teller who was new to me accidentally mis-calculated and did not include one of the checks. I was stumped and kept using my calculator to recalculate the total as her total kept coming in shorter than mine. Finally she realized she did not include the check. She did not apologize. At this point she wanted to recount all items and rewrite the slip. As there was a line I said let me take the deposit and write up a new slip. I could tell she was frustrated. She did not apologize to me at all. She was talking intermitently with a gentleman in their native tongue while trying to wait on me which was causing much confusion in my opinion. Anyway when I came back to deposit the money, she had called her manager and refused to wait on me because her manager told me that this teller said I was yelling at her. Not only was this a blatant lie I was patient enough to dedicate close to an hour to make a deposit that should have taken 5 minutes. I was so angry and offended by this girls lie that I said, that's ok, I will go to Ipswich now on or perhaps leave TD North Altogether. I'm a former BoA customer and love TD Bank in Gloucester. It's like banking was 20 years ago. Rather than calling an 800# for service, I call locally and get immediate assistance. They've worked with me a few issues with fees. Needed a statement emailed to me and Jeff took care of it in about 10 minutes or less. Very happy with them. read more

Very convenient, good location (right as you drive into town) and if you need to switch direction, Gloucester Ave is right there to turn around. read more
