She called me by name and offered a water. She was very accommodating and opened the account using the necessary paperwork needed for the account. I usually don't come to this branch because it's not close to where I live but I will definitely be back for my banking needs if I am in the area.

We have been banking with Wells Fargo for close to 40 years. They are slow and they work pretty…read moremuch by the book. When one really needs a real bank then Well Fargo is the bank to work with. We use the Hwy 34, Aberdeen, NJ branch for our banking needs and have never been let down. There is so much you can do with online and call center help; you need the branches to help you and this is where Wells Fargo shines. During Hurricane Sandy, Wells Fargo was open all along to provide help. And now during the COVID-19 pandemic, Wells Fargo branches have been open and ready to help. They called us and let us know how to start the PPP loan application on their site. Couldn't believe it. We also use their ACH services and we have occasionally used their phone support; second to none.

Went in to cash a Kearney issued check. The manager was a rude racist and said the check was not…read morevalid to be cashed there. The employee was rude and gave no explanation other than the amount. Which was less than 2500. Will never bank at this particular location ever again! Horrible customer service. Went to the same bank in a different town had no problems cashing the check. I'm not sure what's going on at this location but they need an overhaul of their employees and systems because in 2025 this is not how business works.

On a number occasions both my wife and I got to the bank 10 to 15 minutes before closing and were advised that they were closed or met with sighs of disgust. Did you ever think that other people have brutal schedules? We always have to rush to meet your schedule. Other times we were treated like we were criminals and it was not comforting. Last point, the new banks we are with have a 5 star on line system...... not Kearney. Why not? Well after many years with Central Jersey Bank and then Kearney we are now parting ways. We tried to make it work, wish Kearney could have reciprocated the favor.

Had $$$ stolen from my account at the Rt 34 Matawan, NJ location. I stopped at the atm to make a…read moredeposit a few days before my truck payment was due, but the location had a sign on their atm "out of order" and the lobby was closed. So when my payment was taken out the bank charged me a fee of $35. I then stopped at the location on 10-28-24 and spoke with Darlene Marino. Although their machine was out of order and my account never had an issue before, Fluffy Darlene felt it was her duty to give me a hard time. I repeated myself several times that my account never had an issue before and this was the first time my account went negative. That this was not my fault, the atm was out of order and she could easily check the camera and see I was there trying to make a deposit. Darlene clearly didn't care and insisted to be difficult wasting my time and making me late for work. I am completely disgusted with this location and feel Darlene should take better care of herself so she wouldn't be so miserable.
