We had a large deposit put in out account for the sole purpose to pay off some of our debt, "REPUBLIC" put a halt to that plan. Telling us that if you pay more than 2k in bills you have to get written approval from the bank. Stating that this was their policy! I call B.S. if the funds are available in my account it should matter if I pay 10 million or .01 cent the transaction should go through. Crap bank, crap policies and CRAP customer service! This is the best location of PNC. They bend over backwards to be nice. The thing I dislike about…read morePNC banks is their inconsistency between branches. Their policies seem to be different according to each branch which is aggrevating. What is the maximum cash you can take from the drive thru? Runnemeade is $1500, Collingswood is $2400 and Cherry Hill is $2000. And they will tell you "It's our policy, this is the maximum at all branches" This is incredibly annoying. Also, if I have the $5000 in my account why am I given such a hard time when I want to withdraw it? I've been told I have to call ahead or that the branch doesn't have it? $5000? Are you kidding me? Your a bank and its my money. Anywho, this branch has zero of these issues, hence why I go here.

Today, when I went to…read morewithdraw a couple thousand dollars from my account they had the audacity to ask me what I would using the money for--that's MY MONEY--not theirs. They have no business asking me about my money. They refused to hand over my money and I had to call the police to make a simple cash withdrawal! The supervisor, Kimberly Bahr, got very nasty with me and insisted she wouldn't give me the money without a reason for the withdrawal. I'm currently checking with TD Corporate. If this is now a corporate policy, TD will lose a customer they've had since they first opened in NJ with the close of Commerce Bank (which was, incidentally, a great bank). What is happening to American Democracy?

I'm reading the reviews below and I have to say the one guy who came on to complain about the bank…read moresupervisor, Kimberly Bahr, was an absolute nasty person from the minute he walked in. A grown man screaming and cursing in the top of lungs in front of everyone. The bank policy has nothing to do with the employees doing their job. Whether right, wrong or indifferent, you're a grown man- have some class and respect for others around you, especially women. You should probably go bank elsewhere and try talking to a man like that.

They get you in acting like you're going to get a low interest rate on your car loans, they tell you interest rates from like 3.5% of 17% however they can't even tell you what criteria needs to be for what bracket of interest rates. I've never taken out a loan where they couldn't tell me what criteria you to meet to see if you even wanna do business with them. Technically you could have perfect credit and you can meet all the criteria and still get 17 percent interest rate if that's what they want to give you. It is a scam. Stay away from them. They lure you in on false pretense and then can't answer any questions which as a financial Institute they should be able to answer all questions. A car salesman could answer more questions about finance than their own financial institution can answer. They lost my business on that. Could've made a lot of money off my loan, I've been with the banks and their credit cards for over 15 years, I have a personal relationship with finance as well. So this leads me to believe that they have under trained staff. Ignorance is no excuse. For anyone who's reading this, in case you are unaware, as many people are, when they run your credit if you decide to not take out a loan with them, it will drop your credit by 20+ points. If you don't take the loan, it looks like you've got denied. Therefore them not being able to answer your questions properly could result in you dropping into a credit score bracket that you won't be able to get lower interest rates because they suckered you in. If you want to Bank with them, they aren't so bad they have benefits other banks don't have. But it comes the cost because there's only one location in the entire state of New Jersey.
