My 83 year old Grandma and I went to TD, as her account was frozen and she was told that she had to go into a branch. My grandmother has difficulty walking; but as soon as they saw us coming up they opened the door for her. She sat down in the lobby area and Yogita helped her. Yogita was very considerate of my grandmother's difficulty walking, and would come to her in the lobby area, then return to her seat behind the counter. She also helped explain why her account was locked (she was flagged as an elderly person when using Zelle and making online payments.) Unfortunately they were unable to unlock her debit card, so they issued her a new one. Despite us traveling 45 min from Jacksonville , this was the BEST experience we had at any bank. 5 stars hands down! I really felt they cared about my grandmother and showed it, while resolving the issue with her account. read more

Please take a customer service refresher Hampstead, NC. I get texts from TD bank and have had my ATM card replaced recently. I went in, they sent a text, I walked out with a new card. But NOT TODAY!!! TODAY- the female mngr let me know that my cell phone did not have proper authorization to reissue an ATM card and it would be a 7-10 day wait! I asked if I could withdraw 5k and just deposit into a new checking account as I need the debit today. No!!! She said, you can't because you need THAT CODE TEXTED TO YOUR PHONE!!! I left saddened by the lack of customer support. Verification should NEVER simply rely on cell phones. Ridiculous!!! I called another branch and the son who answered basically said it is at the managers discretion. He felt bad and offered for me to come into his brach tomorrow. What happens when an elderly individual without a cell wants to open an account Hampstead TD????? Let me guess, ummm, they are NOT ALLOWED per the manager?!?!?
