I love the style of the place 95% of the time. It's a little pricier, but the clothes are very good quality, so paying a little more isn't that big of a deal. The owner keeps the place decorated all the time and doesn't hesitate to help local nonprofits and the schools. She's big into helping the community. The store carried little girls, women's, and plus size clothing. Shoes, jewelry, purses, hats & scarves can be found as well. Candles and home decor are sold around the holiday times. When someone says, ah, we'll take care of you it insinuate that if you pay too much we will refund your money. They don't and they know it!! They should have told me about their no return policy instead. You can return something there however, a person only gets store credit! So I had to pick things out of the Jewelry store that equaled the amount I had spent on the wedding band. That was over $2800 worth of crap I didn't want or need! Like I said, when they have your money, IT'S OVER!! I wouldn't tell an enemy to shop there much less a friend. These ppl are greedy, they will lie straight to your face & smile the whole time they're doing it. My first visit to this Boutique was great!! However, a simple return has completely changed my view. I went in to return a purchase I made using a gift certificate and cash. I had previsouly asked what the return policy was. She explained it, failing to mention that reimbursements would be store credit only. She attempted to refund me just the cash portion as store credit. Alissa stated I would not be refunded my gift certificate because she was treating it as a discount rather than a form of payment. We both argued, as the gift cerificate held monetary value and what she was doing was theft. However, her attitude and lack of professionalism as the owner is the reason I write this. She was essentially trying to steal my money (gift certificate) all while telling me to calm down. Needless to say, I will not be returning. After my review was posted to the page by a third party, the owner commented having to "set the record straight." However, her version of what happened contains no truth. Think about it, she blocked me before I was able to leave a review. Then when my review does get posted, she comments on it with false information. Seems like someone has a guilty conscience. I would like to reiterate... there was nothing wrong with my first visit. My issue with this business came AFTER the owner refused to reimburse me my gift certificates.
