I have been coming to Bet Cleaners for about 5 years now. I actually brought one of my white…read moreblouses that was ruined by another dry cleaners and was left with black marks all over. I wasn't expecting it to be salvaged but this place did an excellent job and were able to remove all the marks. Ever since then I have been a loyal customer and only come here even though I do not live in Pearland anymore. The owner is very honest about the turn around time and how long it will take to get my clothing back. I have left stuff there for months and they have never misplaced any of my clothing. The owner is very kind and always helpful with any questions I have about tougher stains on clothing. Definitely recommend this dry cleaners to everyone in the Pearland area.

My two visits to Bet Cleaners were less than pleasant and if I were able to give a review that was…read morelower than one star I would. Before visiting Bet Cleaners, I called to find out the cost of cleaning a ladies suit jacket (I had eight, so I was a little concerned about the cost). I was quoted a price of $5.99 by the man on the other end of the phone. I asked if there was any way he could offer me a discount if I brought in eight jackets and to my delight, he lowered the price to $3.99. When I arrived at the cleaners, I handed my eight jackets to the gentleman I presumed I spoke to on the phone (he confirmed I was correct). He entered my information and the number of items, and I noticed the cost of ladies suit jackets was already $3.99, seems I wasn't really getting a discount at all...in fact, he was apparently going to over charge me at $5.99 if I hadn't asked for a "discount." I pointed out what I noticed and he over talked me and acted as if he didn't really know what I meant. I was annoyed but decided it didn't matter and left the cleaners. Two days later I arrived at the cleaners to pick up my jackets and received some of the worst customer service I have received to date in my life. When my jackets were brought out, I looked over them, as I always do when I pick clothes up from the cleaners. I noticed the lapels on two of the jackets weren't laying properly and when I pointed it out, the same gentleman from two days before came unglued. He yelled at me and told me it was the way the jackets were placed on the hanger, and it was fine because they were clean! So I asked him to hang them on the hangers correctly since they weren't right. He rearranged the jackets on the hangers and the lapels were still not laying properly. I asked if he would be able to press them again so they would lay flat. He told me nothing was wrong, it was the movement of the jackets when they were transported and they would be fine. He yelled and I do mean yelled, and told me if I have a problem with it then don't come back! I was embarrassed and offended for a couple of reasons, not only did I have to pay $42.25, but I was yelled at in public by a stranger for something that was not my fault. And to add insult to injury, I still have to take my two jackets somewhere else in order to have them pressed again to get the lapels to lay correctly. Take your business elsewhere because Bet Cleaners does not care about you, your clothes, or repeat business.

Awesome customer service from store manager Jamarcus Carter!!…read more I first stumbled here during COVID because Tide Cleaners were running the community program of "Loads of Hope" to help our first responders and healthcare workers and our family out by doing laundry and dry cleaning for free (not scrubs but basically everything else). I have been a loyal customer since, love the express text message pick up option, I can notify them when I'm 10 minutes away and I know my order will be ready at the door when I pull up :) Keep up the great work, so what it's a little more expensive than other places? The overall experience is really getting my money worth every trip!! Another shout out to Jamarcus Carter, if anyone from upper management is reading this, he needs to be recognized for going above and beyond for my visits :)

I rarely write negative reviews because I understand that mistakes can happen. However, what…read moreseparates a reputable company from an irresponsible one is how they respond when those mistakes occur. Unfortunately, my experience with the Pearland Tide Cleaners has been one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I have ever encountered. On Thursday, July 9, 2026, at approximately 6:00 p.m., I picked up two of my most prized possessions--two authentic customized Dallas Cowboys jerseys. These were not ordinary jerseys purchased off a clearance rack. They were authentic, professionally customized jerseys with my personal name and number stitched onto them. I have owned these jerseys for approximately five years, and they hold both sentimental and monetary value. They are truly irreplaceable. After arriving home, I carefully removed the jerseys from their garment bags and immediately noticed that one of them had been damaged while in Tide Cleaners' care. The sleeve had been visibly damaged, and the integrity of the jersey had been compromised. My excitement about receiving my jerseys quickly turned into disappointment, frustration, and disbelief. I immediately showed the damaged jersey to my wife, who returned to the Pearland location with the jersey to report the damage. Rather than taking ownership of the situation, she was told that someone in management would contact us. We were also told they wanted the opportunity to "repair" the damaged sleeve. The problem with that response is simple: you cannot repair what has been permanently damaged when the item itself is customized and no longer replaceable. Once an authentic customized NFL jersey is altered or damaged, it loses much of its value, uniqueness, and sentimental significance. A repair does not restore what was lost. After several days passed without a single phone call, email, or update from anyone in management, my wife contacted Tide Cleaners again to inquire about the status of our claim. Instead of providing a resolution, we were told that we needed to produce the original purchase receipt from approximately five years ago before they would even consider compensation. Like many people, I do not keep receipts for clothing purchased years ago--especially items that have remained in excellent condition until they were damaged by a company I trusted. It was incredibly disappointing to hear that their focus was on finding reasons to avoid accountability rather than taking responsibility for damage that occurred while my property was in their exclusive possession. To make matters worse, we were then told that we would be eligible for a store credit for future dry-cleaning services. Honestly, that response was insulting. Why would I want store credit to continue doing business with a company that damaged one of my most valued possessions and then failed to communicate with me? A store credit does not replace an authentic customized Dallas Cowboys jersey. It does not restore the sentimental value attached to it. Most importantly, it does not rebuild the trust that was lost through this experience. What has disappointed me the most has not simply been the damage itself--it has been the complete lack of professionalism, accountability, empathy, communication, and customer care throughout this process. We had to initiate every follow-up. No manager ever contacted us as promised. No sincere apology was offered. No meaningful attempt was made to make the situation right. Even the promised store credit has never materialized. As a customer, I entrusted Tide Cleaners with property that was valuable to me, expecting it to be treated with the same level of care and professionalism advertised by the company. Instead, I received damaged property, broken promises, poor communication, and what felt like an effort to minimize the company's responsibility. Customer service is measured not by how a business performs when everything goes right, but by how it responds when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, Tide Cleaners failed that test at every step. Because of this experience, I can no longer recommend the Pearland Tide Cleaners location to anyone who values their garments, especially items that are customized, collectible, sentimental, or otherwise irreplaceable. I have completely lost confidence in this business and will never entrust them with my clothing again. I sincerely hope Tide Cleaners reviews this complaint, accepts responsibility for the damage caused, and reevaluates how it handles customer claims in the future. No customer should have to experience the level of frustration, disappointment, and disregard that my family and I have endured.
