I've watched a lot of CNN Headline News over the years! When my work had TVs on news channels in shared spaces, one would be tuned into CNN Headline News and one would be tuned into Fox News. The Fox news tone for breaking news was always jarring to me, and it made me nervous and CNN, in contract was always more peaceful.
