My dad then visited KK where he met Eric who designed a new setting (more my style) and that didn't have such a high setting to get snagged on stuff. He also did it at a fraction of the price of Duncan. Eric got the ring done in a matter of days before he went on vacation to ensure it would be ready in time for Christmas. I couldn't have asked for a better gift. I will cherish this ring for a lifetime and can't not be more grateful for the beauty the KK team created to honor my mother. The gems have never shined brighter. I imagine the excitement I had when i first saw it is the same excitement my mother felt when my father first gifted her the ring. I live about 20 miles away so it has to be worth my while to make that drive. I initially just wanted some watches engraved to give to my husbands friends. The jeweler I went to initially did not do engraving so they referred me to Krekeler. I was so impressed with Mark, Jasper and all the gals there. They designed a pendant for me with the diamonds from my husband's rings and found a pendant style that was perfect. The watches were engraved quickly. One thing led to another. I have not worn my original wedding ring because the pear setting sat so high, it would get caught on everything. I was afraid I would lose it. I started wearing a diamond band my husband brought for me on out 30th wedding anniversary. I asked them if they could do something with it because I wanted to start wearing it again because it was so beautiful. They lowered the diamond and put a bezel around it to protect it.
