The best kept secret in the area: it is where a lot of Fairies and Elves cohabitate with humans. Some amazing artist started the tradition of placing Tiny Doors in the neighborhood. The idea got so popular, that now the population of Fairies and Elves increased and it is a pure JOY to walk around and notice the cute little doors everywhere. A wonderful idea for the little ones to go for a Tiny Doors hunt. I highly recommend for both adults and the kids. It is an amazing local initiative that brings a smile to Everyone's face!

This is the Mushroom House in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Cincinnati. The amount of detail is really breathtaking: circular steel steps, deck rails of wood shingles, stained glass windows, tiled ceilings... of course, I had to snap some pics. How often do we come to Cin City. The original owner/builder by the name of Terry Brown has passed away in 2008. This 43-foot-tall, bronze-cast fountain was designed to look like the beautiful fountains found across Europe, made up of a nine-foot-tall woman, who is referred to as "The Lady" by locals, with human figures both big and small below and around her. Around the fountain were several different restaurants that were either on the square or bordered the square. Elsinore Castle was erected in 1883 by the Cincinnati Waterworks to house a valve for water to be transported to Eden Park. The company was interested in enhancing the view of the park, and this location was the former main entrance. The castle was built be renown architect Samuel Hanneford, modeled after Kronberg Castle, which was featured in a local play of Hamlet. The real Kronberg Castle can be found in Denmark. When the Cincinnati Art Museum opened in 1886, stairs were placed at the base of Elsinore Castle. The steps were too steep to ever become popular and the Elsinore Castle soon lost its appeal as an entrance to Eden Park. A mere 100 years later, it was integrated into the landscaping of Channel 9 and is seen more as a landmark of the news station than of the park. Set alongside Gilbert Avenue, the public can still stop and photograph the castle, however it was sadly never used for anything magical, like kings and armored battle. Viewing Time: 15 minutes

For the world choir games, besides some of the newer theatre's it is great that we do have some older (although still young by most of the world standards) auditoriums to show off. If you get a chance to visit the masonic temple, try to see if you can get a tour, it is well worth the visit and an option for a special event or a work meeting, it you want something that is different and full of history.

Interstate 471 joins Cincinnati Ohio with Newport Kentucky and is colloquially known as the "Golden Arches" or the "Big Mac" bridge as the twin yellow arches kind of look like the McDonald's logo. The bridge is named in honor of Daniel Carter Beard who was one of the founders of the Boy Scouts of America. It was completed in 1976 and is four lanes in each direction. In Eastern PA, we have the Riegelsville Bridge which spans the Delaware River built in 1904 by the wire rope and engineering firm of John A. Roebling's Sons Co., based in Trenton, New Jersey. Pretty cool to have that connection now that I've been to Cincinnati! The riverfront on the Cincy side is set up nicely, the park areas, stadiums, view of the skyline, serpentine wall, Carol Ann's Carousel, Statue of Cincinnatus, etc. All of those areas are in close proximity to the bridge. I took my son on a drive across the bridge to Covington and the following day we walked half way across before the Eagles-Bengals game. The bridge offers perfect views of the skyline and river! We are so glad we got to see this historic engineering landmark!
