Jack stopped by to check out our home, take measurements and explain what Ultimate could do for us including repairs, polishing, grout repainting, etc. He also got us a printed estimate sheet that same day and then waited patiently as we had the carpeting replaced and the entire interior of the house repainted before sending over his crew to work on our floors. Naser and George did a wonderful job cleaning, repairing and bringing these dirty and, in some cases, damaged floor areas back to life. Jack came back (LOL) for the final walk through with me and gave us specific recommendations on how to maintain the floors and what products to look for and which to definitely avoid. The closet systems that had no damage from the flood, they were damaged after eclipse did the work. now I have to fight Allstate to get them covered. They brought in a company, a friend of the owners, to pack up my furniture and store it. "BUST A MOVE" was the name of that company. Well after not hearing from that company for 1.5 months I called to see what was going on with my belongings. Cole, tells me he discarded me furniture, he told me he has a note from me saying he could throw away my belongings. He gave me a specific date even, January 27th, I did not ever give him permission. So after telling him to send that note to me immediately he confessed he was lying. After calling eclipse and speaking to Piere, by text, he told me they would correct everything. Now it's September and Cole is MIA, I can't even find BUST A MOVE anywhere, and I'm still without my furniture. I would look somewhere else. As a matter of fact my Allstate adjuster denied they sent them to my house. With copies of my conversation with both Allstate and eclipse I was able to prove it was a company sent by Allstate. But looks like Allstate wants to put space between their company and eclipse. If you want trouble, hire eclipse.

I was then expected to pay for that time as part of the job. I have no problem paying a company fairly for legitimate work performed at my home. What I will not do is pay for unnecessary or unauthorized work, inflated labor time, or hours when workers were simply sitting outside my house. When I disputed the charges, I made it clear that I was willing to pay the correct amount once EcoDry and my insurance company agreed on what was legitimately owed. Instead of resolving the disputed total first, I continued to be pressured to make a payment against an invoice I believed was incorrect. This experience has left me extremely disappointed with EcoDry's billing practices. If you use this company, I strongly recommend documenting when workers arrive and leave, keeping track of exactly what work you authorize, taking photos, and carefully comparing the final invoice with the work that was actually performed. I am happy to pay for work that was actually performed and properly authorized. Fire Restoration Services…read more I had a small kitchen fire and wanted to procure fire restoration services to take care of any soot and smoke damage. Any visible damage was mostly contained within kitchen area. I looked up local companies on Yelp and decided to get a free quote from Independent Restoration Services. They came out the next day to check out the place, provided a quote within a few hours, and were then able to start the next day after obtaining work authorization. I placed my trust in them based on their reviews across Yelp, Google, and FB. At first I was a bet skeptical due to only one person making it out on the first day, which was due to a combination of scheduling issues , others being called onto different sites/projects, and overall just being a small team. But in the end they still finished on schedule as initially estimated, despite having less manpower than I had expected. They were thorough with the restoration - my place was just as clean as before, and in some places even cleaner. They kept me assured throughout the whole process and answered any questions and concerns I had. There was a misunderstanding on my end where I thought they would also clean the air ducts, but since that is not something they provide, they offered to go 50/50 on subcontracting a duct cleaner. And at the end, they agreed the initial quoted estimated cost seemed a bit too high, so they were willing to adjust the final bill downwards. Overall they provided quality cleaning and restoration services, were flexible to work with, and did not seem like they were out to get my money.
