I have thin hair and she was able to do a really nice style with it. She asked questions about my hair care routine and offered tips. She was friendly and held a lovely conversation the entire time. I highly recommend her. The salon was excellent. The owner offered drinks, the chairs reclined with leg rests, and they offer incentives to keep you coming back. I'm surprised it took me 16 years to stumble on this place. I will definitely be back. I did try to go back this May on a Saturday before 5pm, but they were apparently closed. The door was open and there were people inside, but when I walked in the lady yelled at me what do you want. I guess I caught them at the wrong time. I'll have to try again.

I initially scheduled an appointment for a bleach root touch up but chose to get a balayage. The person who I thought was going to do my hair told me the owner, Kevin was going to cut my hair and he would do the rest. After I saw them go back and forth about the length I wanted cut, the owner disregarded what both of us told him, I asked for half an inch to be cut because I emphasized I wanted to keep my length. He cut off six inches of my hair in total all around my head, while thinning out my hair without asking me. Then when it came to the actual dying process of my hair- both the worker who said he was going to do my hair and the owner were having a discussion and asked me to show them a photo of the tone I wanted for my balayage so I showed them my Inspo video. I emphasized that I wanted to keep my tone of blonde. The owner went ahead and did my hair and the worker admitted to me that he was arguing with the owner about what they were going to do to my hair because the owner wouldn't listen to anything I asked for. So my length from the front to the back of my head is gone, I'll need extensions to replace the hair he cut off all around- and I have black streaks in my blonde hair, while my roots are untouched and harsh. He refused to fix it, even after I provided video of what was wrong with my hair. I asked more than ten times and practically begged if he could fix it and he refused stating that there is nothing wrong with his work and was defensive and blamed me for why my hair came out the way it did. Also stating that my hair "had no shape" which is why he took it upon himself to thin out my entire head without asking me. His worker told me to come in a few days later and I did, but instead of fixing my hair I was met with two people who worked next door screaming his refund policy in my face and then, the owner started smoking his vape in front of my newborn. I was in tears over this entire situation my hair, the stress I experienced from the complete lack of professionalism and just straight up carelessness. He refused to fix my hair, refused to refund, refused a partial refund, and at some point I was willing to let him cut off my hair he worked on so I can get my money back because he insisted his product was more important than the hair that I lost, stating he wouldn't give me a refund because his product was used and the service was done. I have cried everyday since he touched my hair because it's jagged and choppy all over, it looks like I have split ends, he gave me bangs that I didn't ask for and they're cut un even, that his worker proceeded to tell me my hair "looks like a knife cut through it". He shattered my self esteem, humiliated me inside of his salon. He cut off the hair I grew while my baby was growing in my stomach, and proceeded to smoke while my baby was inside of the salon with me. Then he messaged me on IG stating that I can't scare him by asking him for a refund. In no way was I trying to scare him into giving me a refund. I asked if he was willing to fix my hair more than ten times before I asked for a refund. I can't get back the hair he cut off, my self esteem is at its lowest, and amount of times I've cried over my hair, I barely can get myself to look in the mirror. Please be aware of this if you're considering this salon. Please be careful with all the good reviews and his instagram bio that states "bleach expert". Also keep in mind that after he charges you, he will change the price after you paid and charge more, then refuse to give you a receipt. That in itself is an extremely red flag.

Referring to me as "another person" and later as "these two women" is highly indicative of this, as is the message tone. It speaks volumes about how they treat their customers. As to all of the other lies stated - we have the proof and we have already discussed this with the bank who agree that their actions in charging us are illegal. They have also been reported to Booksy for violation of their policies, as well as the BBB. ------- Extremely unprofessional and unethical business practices - charged us a "no-show fee" when they themselves cancelled the appointment: I booked an appointment for my wife, Taryn, for 9:30 AM. Starting at 10:00 AM the day before, the barber began texting demanding 'inspiration photos.' As a working professional, I wasn't available to be 'on call' to answer non-essential texts all day. Because I didn't reply to their satisfaction, they unilaterally cancelled the appointment via text at 8:16 am just over an hour before the slot. Because I didn't see the message, my wife still physically left to drive to the appointment, having taken precious PTO hours to make it, only to be told it was cancelled and that we had been charged a no-show fee. Their own policy clearly states that a fee is charged if you fail to show up. To cancel on a client who is already on their way, and then try to penalize them with a fee when they actually show up, is completely dishonest and unethical. I have since been trying to text and call them and been ignored. They expect clients to be glued to their phones for 'pre-consultations' but don't have the professional courtesy to pick up the phone and call if there's an issue. Beware of their hidden 'requirements' and then taking your money even when they are the ones who refuse to provide the service. Unreliable, unprofessional and unethical - look elsewhere.
