I must admit I was a little skeptical of Aesthetics Medical Institute after reading some of their reviews. I did speak to Kim, and she assured me and explained to me about the reviews. (Mainly Yelp) I decided to give Aesthetics Medical Institute a shot their prices were too reasonable. Thank god I did. It started with a consultation with Ken he explained their procedure and all my options he covered everything. I was happy he explained the 2 different methods FUE and Strip and the differences. ( I only had Strip done in the past). I paid for 1000 grafts, and they gave me 200 for free. The purpose was to get my front hair line a little lower and fill in the widows' peaks and the center. Ken looked at my donor area and said I had plenty which I knew I did. We took care of the financial aspect which came out to $2.00 per graft. (They kept there advertised price and gave me options but was not too pushy). We then went into the back room to start the procedure. Remember I already had 2 transplants done so I was not surprised of the procedure. This is where I was very impressed. Ken said my first 2 transplants left a horrible scar which I know is true for my wife calls me Frankenstein. Ken said when they remove the doner area he would do his best to fix the stretch out scar that was left from my last procedure. He did an amazing job removing the old scar and giving me a small strait line that will heal up with a lot less of a scar. Ken and the doctor removed my donor area and gave it to the 3 fully employed Gals. ( not too hard on the eyes either). The gals spent about an hour each getting the hair follicles ready for transplant. Ken was numbing my head and making the incision holes. While he was doing that it was bought to his attention that they had 1700 grafts from my donor area, and he did not let any go to waste. The entire time ken walked me threw and explained every step of the procedure and was with me the entire time. The 3 girls then took tweezers And inserted all 1700 grafts, this took about 45 minutes the hole process from the time I waled into the door took 4 and 1/2 hours. When the procedure was done Ken had everything ready for my Post-op and gave me instructions mostly for the next 14 days. ( these are critical days so follow directions.) I was given anti-inflammatory, Vicodin, and antibiotics to take home. They did give me a shoot in the but before I left with anti-inflammatory. To say the least I was very, very please with the work that was done. I would recommend anyone to Aesthetics Medical. Now some fun facts No madder how many transplants you get you WILL NEVER have hair like you were 18. When you leave the office after the procedure it looks like hell, and you may panic this is normal you just had surgery on your head give it a chance to heal and 6 moths to grow before passing judgment. It will take several transplants to get the desired look you want. It all depends how much natural hair you have and how much you want to spend. I recommend 3000 grafts for the first one and you can go down from there. (That is what I did, and I am happy) This is the tough part do not think you are going to get a miracle and leave with a full head of hair it is not going to happen. That is why so many people are disappointed and give bad reviews. If you still have natural hair, chances it will fall out during time so you may see your hair thinning. Transplanted hair will never fall out. You may need a 1000 grafts transplant to fix the problem. Very important to follow directions. If you want a great transplant quit drinking 2 weeks before your procedure and take vitamin K , 2 weeks before as well. I am not in anyway associated with the clinic. I live in the Tampa area, and it took me 5 hours to drive there and 5 hours back. I did everything in the same day. I am a bit over the top. She is really fantastic and very kind. My flight was delayed, so I was about an hour behind schedule, but Ken was very understanding, extra accommodating, and went to work with me right away. He is a fabulous educator and made sure that I understood my options as well as the underlying science and history of the various types of hair transplants available. Ken is extremely knowledgeable having completed several decades of transplant procedures, however, he is also personable, compassionate, and easy to talk to when co-strategizing your treatment. The provider who directed the procedure was very helpful, instructional, and affable. He also had some very interesting historical and personal stories to share about his early life on the US Upper East Coast. It was truly pleasurable and relaxing to chat with him. The 3 Lovely Latina Ladies are also extremely intelligent, competent, comical, friendly, supportive, artistically detailed, humble, and stunningly beautiful! The post-op instructions and care plan were well articulated by Ken in an easy-to-understand approach. They sent me home with my medications and all the care instructions in writing, which is great for me, and obviously, I didn't have to go to a pharmacy which is priceless for anyone who has just undergone any procedure. A wholehearted thank you to everyone and appreciation for making my hair transplant experience enjoyable, interesting, personal, and memorable. I was assured I would lose at least 9 lbs. with the HCG diet- it sounded attractive/motivating. I scheduled the next available appointment and was seen within 30 minutes of arriving. The center was clean, spotless and impeccable- good sign already. The doctor who saw me was clear to understand, informational and transparent and answered all my doubts on the spot. I took home a 21-day treatment plan. 20 days in, I have lost a total of 8 lbs. It may not seem like a lot, but to someone who is 5'1, 8 lbs. may seem like double in person. Staff has been attentive, friendly, courteous while still remained professional. I have had to pick up some B12 shots here and there and they have been so kind to conveniently bring it to my car. I recommend this center to anyone who wants a little push in losing those few extra pounds. They do weekly check-up calls and follow your progress. Rather than standing behind their treatments, they attempted to sell me additional sessions, which feels reminiscent of a pushy car salesman tactic. It's disappointing, especially when other clinics confidently offer guaranteed results with no hair regrowth. Moreover, I noticed that some staff members don't thoroughly cover the treated areas, which I believe contributes to the lack of effectiveness, further raising concerns about their practices. I asked for before and after pictures of treatments for other services and a staff member showed me. Then I asked a doctor in their facility again and he said they don't have such pictures for the treatment they were selling. So they are either out of sync or lying because the first pictures shown were mediocre.

At this point she feels like a friend and my skin texture has improved so much. Ive done other treatments with her now (some peels, aquafirme, facials) and trust her deeply. Will say, the laser gets a bit painful over the months, but manageable and so worth it to be hairless. Would recommend them for laser hair removal in a heartbeat. My experience was good. Steve may be a little abrupt, but I found his no-nonsense approach a very good match for my own personality. His place was the only place I could find where there were actually a very good selection of wigs that looked GOOD. Yes, they are synthetic, but there are many advantages to synthetic vs. real hair. Yes, they are expensive - I paid about $350, but did my own upkeep, so did not go back to him to get him to wash it for $50 a pop. I looked for other options around South Florida, but even my insurance company only sent me one location within 30 miles, and this place was a super cheap wig place ($30 each) that looked nowhere near as good as the one I purchased from Steve. In fact, many people who did not know my health situation gave me complements on my new hair cut (men AND women, who genuinely had no idea this was a wig).

I had someone else do it and they were not as meticulous as she is in what she does. I would use Dr. Nina exclusively above any other doctor in terms of PRP and stem cells. She is coming from NYC and has an extensive background in medicine where others in the field may not have this knowledge.
