Went last weekend to test drive a new Ford Explorer Sport. Dan Medford was very helpful in answering all our questions and very knowledgeable about the vehicle. He was very nice and didn't pressure. Once we decided we really liked the vehicle we had an offer within minutes. Not the normal back and forth bickering. So kudos to the management at Taylor for understanding the clients time. Dean handled the financing and he had everything done in about 5 minutes again awesome job. I highly recommend anyone wanting a Ford vehicle to try there first ! I love my new Ford Explorer sport ! read more

Taylor Motor - My Ford Explorer Sport - Car Dealers Near Me - Waynesville, North Carolina

I had to replace a tire on my car that went flat. The person that sold me my car did not tell me I needed a key to get the lugs off. I called them and asked where it might be. They told me they didnt have it and that I would have to buy my own key lug from the car at an auto parts store. Well seems you cant do that. You have to get it through car manufactor. What if I had a flat on the interstate? I would have been stranded not knowing I need a key to remove the lugs. I am pretty upset with these people. I enjoy my car but I should have been informed that I needed a key for my lugs. This is just outright bad business! Shame on you! read more

I am a used car dealer who buys trade in's from Taylor Ford. I specialise in cheap used cars mostly under 2k. In this business, you learn real quick who is honest and has integrity in their dealings and who are lying sacks of crap car dealers. I have NEVER had anything other than complete honesty and straightforward dealings with Dean the GM and his crew. They go out of the way even when I am buying a $500 trade in to ' get it right'. People who you do handshake business with! I highly recommend that you give them a chance to earn your business. I come from Atlanta to do business with them. They are that straight up. Thanks guys, I appreciate you. read more

Two new stories to tell about Taylor Ford. Back in May on a trip to South Carolina, I crashed my Chevy Tahoe into another pickup. I called Taylor's to do the work. This was my first dealings with their body shop and I couldn't be more pleased. Terry worked magic with my insurance company and the parts supplier to make sure that all of the parts were OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer). The insurance adjuster had based his assessment on cheaper parts and some used parts too. Terry went to bat for me with my insurance company and what he couldn't get them to do, he convinced his parts supplier to take a little less. It was impossible to see all of the internal damage until some of the external damage was removed. Terry handled all of the additional charges with my insurance company. I never had to speak with anyone other than Terry. When the job was complete, I literally could not tell there had ever been any damage at all. The work done at the body shop was immaculate. The Tahoe drives just like it did before the wreck, just like a new car. I wish I could attach before and after pictures. I kept expecting some unanticipated problem to show up after the work, but after a few months and several miles nothing has. To me this is astounding but also a good indication of how thorough the body shop does work and how much pride they take in that work. This is something rare these days. The second story my friends and family are having trouble believing. Well it finally happened. As a life-long Chevrolet man, I just bought a 2015 Ford F-150! My 03 Silverado with over 200K was back in for multiple repairs and things were not looking good. Bradley, the service guy, said they could fix some of the issues but it was also going to have to go to a Chevy shop for one of the problems. I've stated earlier, some of the issues I've had with the local GM dealership. I flashed back on the first time that I took my Silverado to them. After two weeks and $5000 my check engine light was still coming on. After three more multiple day stays in their shop, it now only comes on sporadically. I told Bradley to have his guys fix what he could and I went outside to wait for my ride. While I was waiting, I took a stroll around the lot. A little over a year ago, I had bought the Tahoe mentioned above from Taylor's. Stacey was the salesman and along with follow up calls, anytime he has seen me, he's always asked if everything is ok with the Tahoe. Seeing me on the lot, Stacey comes out and asks if I have the Tahoe in the shop and do I need a ride. After telling him about the Silverado, I ask him to keep an eye out on a possible replacement. Stacey spends the next several hours getting to know how I use my truck and what I'm looking for as we look at what's on the lot and test drive several. I can't believe it but I'm driving a brand new F150 and enjoying every minute of it. The finance department discussed several different options and set me up with a great deal. When I called Bradley and told him to stop work on the Silverado, he said there would be no charge even though they had fixed some minor things and put some time into it. Every experience I have had with this dealership in every department has been exceptional. I wish there was way to give them more than five stars. read more

Wow, what an awesome place!! Terry in the body shop is an amazing guy and he helped me so much when my vehicle was wrecked. He knows the insurance company (and their games) and he held his ground when State Farm was not doing what they were supposed to do. He made a prediction my vehicle was totaled and when State Farm finally did what they were supposed to,I received word Terry was correct and my vehicle was totaled. Mark, one of the salesmen was extremely helpful also and its just nice to know car salesmen with integrity still exist!! Funny how things work out as I had met the owner, Joel, three months prior when I was relocating to Waynesville. I met him sitting next to him at a local restaurant and with one phone call, he helped me get the condo I am about to purchase. It's serendipitous! Thanks again to everyone at Taylor Motor!! read more

I had inquired about a Jeep Wrangler I had seen on their website and the next day I had planned on going out to test drive it. As soon as I had pulled up Stacey came out to greet me. He had the Jeep out and ready for me to test drive it, no waiting at all. I had decided to trade in my car and they gave me exactly what I was wanting for the trade in. The entire process of buying this Jeep was an amazing experience. Stacey was patient, kind and answered all my many questions and got me my dream car! Thanks to all that had a hand in helping! This is an amazing dealership that's willing to help with anything and not just run you over like other places! Highly recommend! read more

As much as I hate to pay for a brake job, it had to be done. Taylor honored our Ford owner coupons on front and back brakes and had our truck in and out quickly. Thanks for the fine job! read more

Here at Taylor motor company ordering some parts! Great service and knowledgable staff Bo is always a big help!

These folks were awesome to deal with. We were looking for an affordable car for our son who lives out of state; wanted to surprise him with it. Mark provided a 'no pressure' environment to really look at our options. All of the folks at Taylor Motors were really helpful in setting up the purchase for our son. We'll be back to work with them again! read more

I can't say enough about how well they treated me as I traded in two cars and got a brand new Ford Fusion. The price was great on my new car and the trade in values very fair on my older, high mileage vehicles. Most importantly, I was treated with respect and everyone was very friendly. Too often dealerships will take advantage of an older woman but this was not the case at Taylor Ford. I would highly recommend them to everyone. read more

My fiance and I were on vacation and on our way to spend the day in Waynesville when our brakes started making a screeching sound. Thankfully we were right at the exit. We pulled into the first place we could find, which was Taylor Ford. From the moment we pulled into the lot we were helped. Bennie Beeson, a sales consultant, came right out to see how he could help us, pointed us to the service department and from there we found out just how incredibly helpful each of the Taylor Ford employees are and I can't tell you how impressed we are with this dealership. Rickey Ramey in the sales department ensured that our car was repaired that day. We were going to walk to downtown Waynesville. Bennie Beeson was king enough to not only offer us a ride, but he also picked us up at the end of the day! Really, we were blown away by the incredible customer service and quality work performed. These guys are simply amazing and are incredible ambassadors for the Ford name! I highly recommend this dealership! read more

Brought my vehicle in while on vacation. Shop staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Found the issue after a lot of digging around and kept the parts for my inspection. Seems I had blown two motor mounts. Staff was fantastic and a lot better than my local ford dealership where I buy a ford else where. Will give them a call when I start looking again. They have earned my trust read more

I brought my Escape in for a factory recall. When I got it back Taylor Ford had done a full point-to-point inspection as well. Free of charge. Love my Escape and love Taylor Ford. read more
