I let them know I would like to spend $100 or more and would like to know what that would get me as I've never shopped there before. She said she had just done a beautiful floral arrangement prior to my call for the same price. I was happy to hear that and I asked her if she could send me a picture of it so that I could base my decision off of that whether I wanted to keep my order at $100 or increase it to more based off of the fullness of the arrangement that I would like. She proceeded to tell me no... that she could not do that. I asked her if she could send me any pictures of any arrangements that they have done so that I could tell her which one I would like it to resemble she told me no again..... I then asked her if I could send her a picture of previous arrangements I have ordered from my longtime Florist in Louisiana so that they would know the type of arrangement style I am looking for. She told me no again...... she told me the owner did not allow any of this and acted as if she didn't care if I placed an order or not because her owner had been in business for 50+ years and never allowed this and wouldn't start now. I've never had an interaction like this with any Florist. It seemed that they did not care about gaining or keeping customers. I was very disappointed in this interaction and will not be a return customer.

They were so easy to work with over the phone. I was so pleased with the beautiful arrangement. The flowers were fresh and so beautiful. Even the butterfly agreed! I saw one land on the arrangement during the service! I'll definitely call Angee's if I'm ever in the need for flowers in Carlsbad again.

I was hesitant to order from Black Tulip at first mostly because I hadn't heard of them until the…read moreother day and wasn't familiar with their designs. I was born and raised in Odessa and am definitely more familiar with some of the other shops over on 8th street lol but I decided to give them a shot because they offered the best deal on a short time frame. (Definitely browse their website as all their designs are gorgeous!) I ordered the Designer's Choice (modest) for a bouquet for Mother's Day and since you're leaving it up to the florist to decide there aren't any picture like the rest of their items but do not be deterred! they did a wonderful job, and even put in a relevant themed vase/container which was a pleasant surprise! I'm very happy with the decision. I wanted to surprise my mom a bit early for Mother's Day since she's also coming to visit me for the actual day and Black Tulip Designs came through and blew me away and she was extremely happy for the gift as well :) Would definitely recommend them if you're looking for a change in scenery with the floral shops in Odessa. They look exactly as they did on the delivery date of February 27th! I LOVE the customer service as well as the communication via email of delivery time information, etc. I absolutely LOVE this floral shop and am telling friends/family about them and I will continue to use them for all my future orders 1,000%!!!! Their prices are very fair and the flowers are beautiful and everything about my experience has been quality and a great experience!!!

My grandmother is dying and is suffering from dementia. I was in town to visit her, probably for…read morethe last time. I always gave her yellow roses since I was a girl and I wanted to buy some for her in the hopes it would help her remember me. I'm immunocompromised and thus wear a mask when I go out in public. This shop does not approve. I was repeatedly told to speak up and that I couldn't be heard through the mask, which is a lie. I speak loudly and the shop is quiet. The only ambient noise is the refrigeration unit. There was nobody else in the shop. She heard just fine. After a couple minutes of this "I can't hear you" game, the woman flat out told me to take off my mask and made a joke about germ paranoia. I told her I am severeIy immunocompromised and was told by my doctor to wear it in public. She informed me he didn't know what he was talking about. A prime example of the Dunning-Kruger confirmation bias. A foolish woman who knows little about medical issues, but thinks she knows more than physicians who studied medicine for a decade. Disgusting. I left and will never go back.
