Dr. Kwant was wonderful. I was pretty anxious going into my appointment, and he had such a calm and reassuring demeanor that really helped put me at ease. Rachelle, my hygienist, was also amazing. She was very kind and informative, explaining things as she went without ever making it feel overwhelming or overbearing. Rachel, the office manager (I'm pretty sure), really wrapped up the whole experience so well. She went over my treatment plan with me, helped schedule my follow-up, and made sure I understood everything before I left. She was so thoughtful and even made sure my daughter had some little toys to take home with her. Even the small touches stood out, like offering me water during my appointment. Called Floss Family and explained my situation they got me in pretty quickly. I have been seen by Dr. Coakley and Tori and they are both great! I'm a huge gagger. Like embarrassingly bad. They have both been super great with me, especially Tori. I'm pretty certain I'm her favorite patient! lol. Anyway, I had a tooth with a cap that was having problems. They went in and cleaned it up and got me a temporary. Unfortunately, I still had some pain, so I opted to go forward with a root canal. Went back in and had the root canal done. Got another temporary while they sent my cap offsite to be completed. Just went back in for my permanent cap today and it was easy peasy. In & out in 20 min. Both Dr. Coakley and Tori are friendly and extremely patient with me. I can't thank them enough for their patience. The office is clean, everyone is friendly and kind, and I don't hesitate to recommend them.

I had a poor customer service experience that cost me money with this office. I'm sure within signed docs when getting services, they have sections that allow for this type of situation, so it is likely irrelevant to question the legalities. - I went in over a year ago for a checkup after having tooth aches and being referred by my insurance provider to make sure I was covered. - I had an appointment for a dental cleaning at a later date but called and let them know my wife just received the results of a positive covid test, so I was under quarantine. My memory is not great from that long ago, but I believe it was the day before the appointment. They agreed I should not come to their office - Over a year later I received a phone call from a collection agency saying I have an unpaid balance due over $100+. I advised this is my first-time hearing of this. I had a checkup last year and had insurance, so I was unaware of any bills due. It turns out they had my old apartment address (without the apartment number) that I was still in for a few months after having the checkup before moving to a house. I told the collector I'd like to get the billing info from the dental office and don't feel comfortable discussing this on a call that came in without me being able to confirm the source - I went into the dental office, the person at the front desk told me multiple times if the collection agency has the file, then she will not give my any info or have any discussions with me. She was very polite about it though and gave me the phone number to the collection agency so I can call them directly - - I called and was able to get a copy of the invoice emailed (they already had my email address), but I made it clear to the collector, and the dental office, that they have my insurance info, my prior address, my phone number, and my email address so there is no excuse for the lack of contact for this long. The collector said they did not get any returned mail, I let them know a lot of people don't usually return mail that isn't theirs, they throw it away. That doesn't excuse there was plenty of ways to still get ahold of me prior to this level of escalation. - - I found in the billing the amount they charged for services was not fully paid by insurance. So there was a remaining balance after insurance paying for the visit, there was also a fee for the canceled appointment due to covid that I was not expecting, and there were additional finance charges likely due to them sending it to collections. I paid the bill and again, am not even disputing the validity. My issue with this was the lack of effort to contact me about any charges back when I still had the opportunity to discuss things with my insurance and resolve the debt. I don't believe there was any ill intent by anyone, just poor process.
