My wife and I were pretty excited about a new experience and a fun lunch. The place was disappointing to say the least. The servers weren't really friendly or outgoing. The value was severely lacking- a reported 5 ounce burger (looked small) and literally about 10 crinkle cut fries, a 12 ounce drink served in styrofoam and a vanilla malt to go costs us about $50. I tried to say thank you to the server on my way out but she was busy having a loud conversation with another employee and didn't notice me. There is outdoor seating on picnic tables. The menu has a variety of sandwiches like cod fish and a fried bologna plate. But most of the menu was different burgers with cute names. The web said they served breakfast all day, there was no breakfast menu on the table and we didn't ask. All in all I'm glad I went to satisfy my curiosity but I would not seriously recommend this place to people visiting Frankfort. You would get a better deal and probably service at Hardee's.

You need to provide ID, and you will be given a wristband (free) which allows access to the tastings. Tastings are offered in the building with the gift shop. The tastings are free and you don't have to take the tour for the tastings. The tour is interesting and enjoyable, but you might want to make advance reservations as it does sell out at times. The gift shop is excellent, featuring everything from glasses and coasters to all varieties of clothing. There are many collectible items. Perfect place to shop for anyone who loves bourbon. There are different varieties of bourbon available each day. Today I scored a bottle of Eagle Rare, yay! Limited to one per person. It is well worth the drive to experience Buffalo Trace. It is a little off the Bourbon Trail but easy to find.

Their menu has a lot of appetizers (like garlic knots, wings, cheesy bread, etc.), tons of pizza, Stromboli and calzones, basic pasta, and drinks. They offer both soda and alcohol (beer and wine). We ordered 10 count cheesy bread to start which was perfect for 2 people as an app. It comes with a garlic butter sauce and cold marinara. For the main I considered getting pasta, but the only sauces offered are Alfredo and meat sauce (no plain marinara), so I opted to just go with pizza. We split the 10" Davinci Special, which was also more than enough for two people. The pizza was good and cooked well, but not incredible. There was nothing less than good about it, but the quality was that similar to screaming Sicilian. I would be curious to see how some of the other specialty pizzas taste--maybe the Davinci tasted too similar to a Deluxe pizza for me to really feel something special about it. They have a broad range of specialty pizzas, so I'm willing to give this place a try again if we ever come back to the area or for a late night bite.

She orders this dish a lot at different places and thought this was one of the best she has had. The service was good. The food arrived super quickly. The vibe is casual all the way. This time it was a different guy, and as I was getting on the elevator at work to go up, he was also getting on, I asked where he was going and he said that he was going to see Lori, I said "Oh, she works on my floor, you can just follow me" so we get in to the office and Lori wasn't there, so I told him that I had ordered previously with another guy, and that I wanted to get the pecan cinnamon rolls, he said "Ok, that will be 16.99 I said " Hold on, that's not what I paid for them last time, I said, Last time they were 12.99" He said " yep that's right they were, but there is a delivery fee of almost 4 dollars" I said " well, technically I didn't ask you to deliver them, you were already here on your own. So, I shouldn't have to pay the delivery fee. He just stood there, didn't answer me, didn't say no you shouldn't. The only thing he said was there is a delivery fee of almost 4.00 I finally just walked away and went to the restroom. How ridiculous is it, to pay almost 17.00 for 6 pecan cinnamon rolls, I mean I know Schwanns has some good food, but not that good that I will pay almost 17.00 for 6 pecan cinnamon rolls. So, when I got back from the restroom he was gone. So, I don't think I will ever order from them again. And to top if off, the guy couldn't even find my account that I registered with the last time I bought the stuff, (well technically the first time I bought the stuff).
