I liked that they texted and emailed me ride updates, and that they accept credit cards in the car. The second "trip"...oh boy. The driver was late, 45 minutes late! Of course I didn't wait for him, but before I called Lyft, I tried to see where my All Island driver was. The fool who answered the phone, I think Lee was his name, apparently thought it was funny as he kept telling me my ride was 3 minutes away in between him smacking and chewing in my ear. They usually arrive in about 20-25 minutes, and I make it just in time. They are reliable in a pinch. There have been times where they've been excessively busy, and unable to provide service due to lack of drivers. In that case, I would suggest contacting All Island Transportation as a back up. I have never had any problems with this cab service. Sometimes they do bunk you with one or two other people, but I don't see it as an issue, as long as I catch my train.
