I made an appointment with a specific tax preparer that I met while my fiancé was getting his taxes done. She gave me a price quote and I felt comfortable with her. However, when I showed up for my appointment not only was I not greeted or even acknowledged but when I went back to look for my tax preparer I was told she wasn't there. My appointment had been moved to someone else without my knowledge and on top of that they my moved appointment back 30-40 min. All these changes and not even a phone call to ask/inform me. **I called Alisha and let her know and she made me another appointment, she also offered me 10% off. This is by far the worst place to get your taxes filed at! I am completely outraged over the whole ordeal that these incompetent people put my husband and I through! Not only, have we not received our tax return yet, after already waiting 2 weeks, but now on top of that time we have already patiently waited, we have been told that we are expected to wait about another 4-6 weeks for our tax return. We spent over $200 dollars for this horrible service! I don't understand how they have good reviews! We will never set foot into this place again! Not only did they fail to contact us to tell us that they made a mistake in spelling a three letter first name, so the IRS would not accept the tax files, which my husband found out only after calling them after waiting the 2 weeks, wondering where our tax return was, but they made the same spelling mistake a second time after asking my husband to send them a copy of my SS card so that they could fix the mistake and resend everything. How is that even possible? They failed to contact my husband to update him as they stated again. My husband had to call them to figure out that they messed up the second time again and they informed him that they would have to file everything via paper form now because of this and that we would be looking at waiting 4-6 weeks for our tax return. As of now, no updates have been made aware to us, and no follow up contact of any sort. No apologies have been made out to us verbally or otherwise! I am beyond disappointed especially when the reviews highly recommended them, I am wondering about these so called reviews now! I wouldn't be surprised if they are friends and family members leaving them good reviews! We were already upset at the fact that we had an appointment set up for 5 pm and were not even seen until an hour to an hour and a half later after I finally spoke up to raise concerns about our wait time! The receptionist ended up taking us into a room to get us started on the electronic filing process so we didn't have to wait any longer. It's one thing for the receptionist to make a mistake, even though she must type up paperwork regularly, so even that is off putting to me, but for the person who took over to possibly have been the one to make the mistake or not even catch the mistake is so unprofessional! You have our SS cards in front of you, in person, it's a three letter first name, how do you mess that up? We paid you the ridiculous amount of money to file our taxes properly, what have you done for us except inconvenience us in such a horrible way! I rarely write reviews ever, unless I absolutely love a service or am extremely disappointed with a service, and this was the worst service I have ever received! I can't even begin to describe my feelings of complete dissatisfaction in this place! I hope no one else ever has to go through this horror! If I could give this place less than even a half of a star, believe me I would have! DO NOT GO TO THIS TEAM AND THIS PLACE! I wouldn't be surprised if this review will be flagged by this place as a "not recommended review" or if they are able to pay to get rid of this review, if possible, or if they delete this review, if they are allowed to delete this review at all! Fahim has responded back to my review in the same rude unprofessional manner that was present during my appointment with him. He claims my mother was "pestering him for years" for a discount which is completely untrue. This was my mother's second time going to him. The first time was last year and she did not ask for a discount last year. She just mentioned that her friend Mariam referred her. How can you say that my mother has been coming to you for years? This is a complete lie. We do not know you Fahim. This is part of the reason why the behavior we witnessed from you was so shocking since this was my mother's second time having a phone appointment with you and my first time ever speaking to you. Fahim's comments show just how careless and uneducated he is. I had called Tax Den the Monday after our original appointment and I calmly expressed how taken aback I was by his behavior. Fahim's secretary placed me on hold for seven minutes and when I called back Fahim did not care to answer like a professional business owner would. I have since filed a complaint against Tax Den with the Better Business Bureau. I only made an appointment with this business based on the flyer that they sent in the mail. After this ordeal I do not want to receive anything in the mail from Fahim/Tax Den. Fahim you are not the smart and savvy business owner you claim to be. My mother and I have since filed our taxes with a different business in Fremont that provided more of a refund at a better price. Fahim, you have a huge ego. My mom had been using Fahim as Tax Care for years and I started having my taxes done two years ago. Prior to covid, they used an incorrect address for my mom and she's still fighting this issue (no help from Fahim and team who said they would send a letter to clear the issues) and added incorrect/someone else's information into my return (who knows what information of mine has been shared with others). Fahim does look for every deduction he can find/suggest. This year, under Tax Den, my mom brought the office her and my supporting documentation. Tax Den cancelled our appointments so my mom called to reinstate (they were able to find our documents). We had to call again to get the Zoom info, they ran very late because according to Fahim we didn't have appointments, they missed other appointments while talking to us, ... When I mentioned this to Fahim, he said we can either move on or he would cancel with me and move to someone who isn't unhappy, no apology. Very unprofessional. read more

I can't praise this place and Fahim enough!!!! My family has been going to tax care to complete their taxes for over 8 years from what I can remember. About 5 years ago I had my taxes done and the person missed some stuff, which made me miss out of getting my $13,000 refund. I got some money back so I thought maybe that was all I was supposed to get. When my sister (who has been going there for over 8 years) went to file her taxes she asked Fahim to go over my taxes for me because I felt like something wasn't right. He went over it and told me that I have a big refund but because my taxes wasn't prepared the right way at this other place I didn't get my full return. I was shocked when I got my return even though the initial filing was done two years before he found this mishap I got another check for the remaining of what IRS owed me. I would never go to any one other than Fahim at Taxcare. Fahim is really honest and takes his time with us every time we go in. If there is any kind of issue he goes out of his way to solve it for me or anyone in my family that goes to him. He is really good at what he does and cares for his clients. Hi guys I'm still in shock at how fast and amazing faheem at tax care was. I mean I had stressed over my taxes for a few nights and tried using TurboTax so I could do myself.
