I am truly grateful for the incredible experience with Merritt Bookkeeping. The onboarding process…read morewas genius and user-friendly; the directions were clear and concise, making it almost impossible to mess up. Whenever I had a question, it was promptly answered, and I was back on track in no time. My books were a mess as I have been so busy getting my restaurant off the ground, I had no time to work on them. They went back to the start and got my books in order. The cost is totally reasonable, and they were flexible in allowing installments for the additional expense of having to backtrack, which was crucial for me during our slow season. Bookkeeping is foreign to me; I know how to run a kitchen and keep food costs in check. Those numbers make sense to me, but reading numbers from a business perspective is something I still have a lot to learn about. As a business owner, knowing your numbers is crucial to continued success, the breakdowns and reports that Merritt Bookkeeping provides has helped me make sense of things quickly. I am genuinely grateful for Merritt Bookkeeping. They have relived a lot of stress for me.

The AI agents were horrible, kept sending me through the same loop, and ultimately I gave up and left a 3*. After their prompt response by a real person to set up an appointment, I decided to take down my review to potentially leave a better one if things went well. I was scheduled for an appointment about a week out, and at the time of the appointment, I called the number and received another virtual assistant (not AI to my knowledge), who told me that the person I had the appointment with was on another call. I left my number and was never contacted, until about 3 weeks later, by email calendar invite, telling me that another appointment had been set up in another week or two. I already got my issues handled by another CPA and will be working with that other firm in the future. I hope this firm here gets their virtuals and artificials straightened out soon
