While certainly I could have done it all myself, I wanted the benefit of tax advice and assurance that each return and associated schedules would be prepared correctly (read: lowest tax liability). As I was interested in a small office/sole practitioner, Allan G.Bolden, C.P.A., presented exactly the interface I was looking for. The front office staff is friendly, professional and efficient. Each January, we receive a notebook in which I complete tax-related proprietary forms and attach official documents which simplify the practice's information gathering phase. During our appointment, we discussed (with Allan) changes in our lives over the last year ... and anything that we could foresee ... that could affect our tax position in 2017. Allan does not actually key the input, that is completed by one of the staff specialists; however, he reviews every return and accompanying schedules.
