I have a very big fear of dental work but Dr. Salman and his entire team were so friendly, kind, patient and understanding. Dr. Salman does amazing work and he made me feel more comfortable during this dental procedure than I've ever felt with any other dental procedure I've had in the past. I CAN'T say this enough, Dr. Salman and his team all deserve every star in this review! I'm going to be recommending this practice and Dr. Salman to anyone I know needing a phenomenal oral surgeon and a phenomenal team. (If you are fearful of dental procedures but need to get an extraction or another big procedure done, TRUST ME - this doctor is the doctor to see. He managed my pain very well during the procedure and made sure I was comfortable. He checked in with me often to be sure I was numb and if I felt pain he stopped to numb me further. Just an overall amazing experience! ) Thank you Dr. Salman. I'm so grateful for your help.

The office initially billed the wrong amount and later corrected it after I contacted them. In addition, incorrect implant information was sent to my restorative dentist, which caused delays during my crown appointment while the offices sorted it out. The clinical work may have been fine, but the administrative and communication issues made the experience frustrating, especially given the cost of treatment. Patients spending this kind of money expect billing accuracy and proper coordination between providers.

I asked how that could be possible as they are the ones that determine which they accept. Short story - No help, I was given only some company names. My estimate for a procedure was given verbally rather than listing services. The default when you're leaving your appointment is they tell you what date and time the next one is verbally, as though someone is going to remember it six months from now. You have to ask for it in writing which just comes off as cheap. How much does it cost to give a card telling me when to come back and give you money again? If you don't have insurance, they don't seem to want your business.

It would have been nice to have received a call about this in October (we even spoke with their office a month ago, and they did not mention of this). Now we have to schedule with another dentist, which will be another two months wait!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL - perhaps they should honor the original negotiated rates since they FAILED to inform us! This practice is completely unprofessional, unsafe, and predatory. I contacted them via email, but…read moreafter 2 weeks of no responses, I called. I was given the excuse they currently do not have an office manager to read their emails. I should have known better, but out of desperation, I scheduled a consulation appt with possible wisdom teeth extraction. Despite the very small waiting area with a bathroom in the same space and two frustrated patients already complaining, I stayed. While waiting, I witnessed a dental assistant allow a sedated patient to stumble unassisted out the front door. This is a severe liability and a blatant patient safety violation. When I was finally called in 30 minutes past my appointment time, the assistant was cold, unfriendly & looked like she hated her job. Once I saw Dr. Reznick & mention the possibility of extractions & he looked at me as if I was crazy. He refused to perform the extraction, claiming because I was 50, I required starting Amoxicillin a day prior to procedure. I've had several outpatient procedures & elective surgeries done & have never been told this. He solely based the need for antibiotics based on my age, rather than medical necessity. I don't think he even reviewed the medical history I listed on the forms. After the consult, I was taken to the front desk where I was handed a tablet to sign for payment without explaining any charges & hiding a second option until I caught it myself. The fees charged are inflated at $869.60 or $788.60. I walked out and went to Atlanta Oral Sx for another consult. The estimate for the exact same procedure with IV sedation under the same insurance came out to $395 or $194 witout IV. How is it that the estimates varied by hundreds of dollars using the same insurance! Sage Dental provides dismal care, unsafe conditions, and price-gouging tactics. Avoid their offices at all costs.

She continues make promises she doesn't keep. Since my first call, I have requested a copy of my billing statement showing my payment as well as what the plan covered but after three calls have not received what I asked for. When I spoke with Lana, I explicitly asked for my billing statement, but she instead sent me a copy of pictures of teeth and then went on to say I was hostile and hung up on me. After my visit in May, I received my bill that said I owed around $99, but the statement I received back then didn't show the payment, of approximately $165 I made on day of service. When I called asking about this, the office said they were still waiting for insurance. Alecia, the Hygienist, is fantastic, but I have had poor experiences with the office staff, especially Lana. She needs more training and should not be in the role of office manager. I feel that Sage Dental is hiding something as I can't get what I asked for. I want my refund.

They said that his x-rays from the dentist were not good enough so they needed to do another one. They never once mentioned that it was a CT scan. They made us pay $500 and said that once insurance paid them they would refund us. They only refunded us $96 because our insurance doesn't cover CT scans. They told us that we were informed that there would be a CT scan when scheduling the appointment. We weren't even the ones that scheduled the appointment. The referring dentist scheduled it! They also quoted us a high price for the implant. We decided we would get a second opinion. The second oral surgeon was BAFFLED that they would even do a CT scan AND quoted us $800 cheaper for the total implant. Overall, this place will try to take as much money as they can from you. They do tests without informed consent and don't even check your benefits to see what they cover. I would love if they would make things right but so far I've just received a bunch of excuses.
