I just added a video of my finished tattoo in all it's glory! I was awe-struck as Roly performed six hours of detail work, really bringing Anubis to life. I was absolutely floored at how one little stroke of ink made his muscles more defined or his eyes more expressive. He freehanded the background and it turned out amazing! I went with my daughter today to Tattoo Technique ('cause I'm an awesome Mom like that). She wanted to get a tattoo in memory of her Nanny, just a small one behind the ear....a bee, because Nanny's name was Bea. Until today, she's never so much as walked into a tattoo studio, and neither have I. I didn't think she'd even be able to go through with it, but she kept saying all the way there that she was "turnt". I won't even pretend that I'm young and hip enough to understand that language, but I think she meant that she was excited. Leighton was her tattoo artist, and he was great at talking with us and asking her if she was ok during the process, and giving her specific instructions on aftercare for the next 5-7 days. He also gave her the ointment to use on it. Winner winner, chicken dinner! Right?!! Not to mention that my daughter left with a realistic, detailed bee, and it was EXACTLY what she wanted. Thanks be to Leighton, the man was phenomenal. The studio is extremely clean...even the bathroom. Everyone that worked there was very friendly, and I was glad I got to meet Roly. He's the owner, and has tattooed my sister-in-law and completely changed my view of tattoos. His work is like amazing 3-D art. One of these days I just might get the guts to go get a tat myself!! read more

There are three things that make my tattoo experience rewarding in the end and Tattoo Technique exceeded my expectations with regard to those things. First the art itself is done very well. I got a half that reflects everything I had in mind and captures all the elements that I wanted in the mood that I wanted it shown in. Second of all the placement requires a skilled eye and Roly had the vision to adjust the placement from where I initially wanted my tattoo. The third thing is that the shop made sure of was that I was comfortable. There was a TV where I could watch anything I desired to distract me and the chair was comfortable. I love the design and tattoo CJ did for me! The staff is great and very patient with me. I have fibro so getting a tattoo is particularly painful but she did a great job being as gentle as she could and giving me a few minutes to process the pain when I needed. Great shop! Friendly guys! Recently I got a piece done by Cody Maestas. He is an incredibly talented artist! He definitely has a natural gift. The way the shop runs is a little funny by way of appointments and such but it's nothing that you can't work with. The facility itself is nicely decorated and very clean. I went here because I saw all the good reviews and I have gotten two tattoos done here and I took a friend to get hers done ! First one was done by a girl who no longer works there and my second one and my friends was done by the owner mine was free handed and looks great ! It's about the quality they are reasonable with their prices and its a comfortable place to be in if anybody I knew wanted a good tattoo clean , nice , and looked great I would recommend this place I couldn't say ANYTHING bad about it if I wanted to ! Second time I've been here and I have to say I was once again blown away. Came in last Thursday to see if I could get a walk in done before I had to leave for a flight the next day and the artist First, who had nothing on his schedule had absolutely no problem taking me on. He had another customer come in as he was preparing my sketch and asked me if I didn't mind waiting because the piece he was doing on this other person would not take long. I had no issue because, as I said I was a walk in. When it became my turn to get in the chair First did an amazing job. I could not have been happier with my new piece.
