Even dynamic and explosively popular Berlin contains surprises. Prenzlauer Berg, a long time bastion of cool, has transitioned into an upscale, gentrified and posh area. Yet luckily there still exists a small, cozy bar that has the soul of earlier times and reflects the authentic nature of Berlin's artistic vibe. Intimate & comfortable. Classy cocktails, hip, eclectic romantic decor, cinema nights, and assorted events devoted to film and art. It's always interesting and stimulating. Overall super charming.
We've been several times and have a hard time choosing from the vast cocktail offerings served in gorgeous glassware- such as the classic and perfectly made Manhattans, trendy Moscow Mule with cucumber twist, or a stately Whisky-served neat! It's a smoker bar with fun outside seating. Totally low-key lighting and decor- we could just sit for hours soaking it all in having a quiet conversation. Dark, cool, hip, funky, interesting. Love this Berlin scene. Make your way there to experience it yourself. read more
