It was a nice day so we took a seat at one of the benches outside. Pretty quite on a Monday evening. The dining area was cozy with dimmed lighting. We started with the King's Platter 65. A sampler plate with chicken, fish, paneer, shrimp and cauliflower. Spices (billed as 65) were complex and each piece was fried just right. Excellent! For main, we decided to split two entrees which worked out perfect. Lamb Dosa and Shrimp Masala. Both dishes were excellent! We also ordered a Chapathi which was one of those sides that you can't get enough of & was a perfect compliment to the Masala. Wish they would have a few more beer choices to compliment their excellent dishes. Service was fast and attentive. Overall, lived up to the recommendations!

Oh well, fortunately I do have the superpower when it comes to tolerating chilli, having been raised in Indonesia and grew up eating sambal (chilli sauce condiment from my country), so my very spicy Bombay aloo didn't really burn a hole in my throat. But holy crap that was spicy! I was dragged here by a Malmö dweller who frequently haunts this place when I admitted that I fancied Indian food for dinner. The decor is kitschy, as expected from this kind of place, but they do have good food compared to many Indian restaurants that I have been visited here in the far north. They have also a lot of different varieties compared to the usual biryani, masala etc and plenty of vegetarian options that might be interesting to try. Then again, I am not Indian, so I couldn't give out certification of authenticity when it comes to the food they're serving, but I would say they serve good food, plain and simple. Service was friendly and efficient, something that was probably a rarity in Copenhagen but quite the norm on the other side of the pond here in Sweden and I can't really say anything much than giving this place a four-star review. Not too cool or too warm. That said, the interior is very warm and inviting. Looks like a great place to be when it's cold outside. It was quite busy for a Monday night. My server intuitively brought me an English menu. I asked for his recommendations for starter & he suggested Milled Shrimp in garlic. Perfectly cooked in a garlic olive oil sauce. The garlic bread had a pesto like spread on it and paired well with the Shrimp. For main, he suggested Pizza as that's what they are known for although the pasta dishes looked very good also. I ordered the Frutti de Mare pizza. It was a stretched pizza with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Tomato sauce was superb! The crust was thin and light with crisp edges. They also gave you a good amount & variety of seafood. Many places really skimp when it comes to seafood toppings. Not 400! Paired it all with a Peroni. Amazing service and food!
