Reggie did a great job with my event! I wanted a farmers market style bbq and he delivered. He brought his own Santa Maria style grill and cooked up delicious ribs and tri-tip for my girlfriends surprise party. He was extremely punctual which was absolutely essential for this event. Thanks Reggie everyone loved the food!

We contacted Reggie in March to be our chef for my girlfriend's bachelorette party. Once we picked a date and clarified if he could accommodate our requested menu he asked for a deposit of 50%. Which we paid via credit card. I decided to add on an appetizer and he asked for additional $100 via Venmo. As the event got closer he became less responsive. I would send multiple emails before getting a response. The week of the event I sent another email confirming he got our menu correct. He stated he did and asked for the address again. The day before the event I emailed him to confirm the time. He responded he would need to arrive an hour and 1/2 to an hour and 45 min before dinner. No where did he say what time we would have dinner. The morning of the event I called him to confirm dinner time. We were flexible but wanted to make sure we returned to our Airbnb to let him in. He sent our call to voicemail. He then texted us about 20 min later saying he was no longer coming. Stating he had to go to Fresno the night before to say goodbye to a grandparent. He stated he would be giving us a full refund in a couple of days. I responded apologizing for what he was going through and requested he returned our deposit and additional funds via Venmo today since we now had to take our large group to dinner. He responded by liking my message. 5 hours later we still did not have our money. I decided to go back to his Yelp to see if things had changed. When I originally found him he had 5 stars and glowing reviews. I was disappointed to see this had changed. I decided to request the amount via Venmo so he could simply complete the transaction. I sent him another text asking him to please complete the transaction. An hour later he sent me several strings of text saying he would send the money at 6pm after his time with his family. Again I was trying to be understanding but at this point was not really sure he was being truthful. 10 am the next day I sent another text asking him to send the money and that I've given him plenty of time. He has now blocked me and isn't responding. He is posting pictures of his dog on his Instagram and seems to be active on there, but is still unable to return our money. He is a fraud. Do not do business with him. Do not send him money via Venmo. ETA: changing your business name and owner name to FU only makes it worse for you. My point about the dog is you have time to send the $, but instead you're posting on your Instagram.

We hired Reggie with Taste to Remember to cater a dinner for twelve in Paso Robles! I talked to nearly every private chef option in the region before finally deciding to go with Reggie-- and it was a great decision. From the start Reggie wanted to know what I was looking for, was accommodating to our guests food request, and even customized dishes for allergies. Reggie made an entire custom menu for our group. He was great at communicating to be sure everything would be as expected. We requested an Asian fusion dinner and he was able to come up with an excellent menu that met all our needs. The night of the dinner him and his team showed up, prepared the meal, served the meal, cleaned and left the place good as new. It was as seamless and effortless as possible! Food was delicious! I was extremely happy with the fresh produce Reggie used and the creativity in presentation. Would 100% recommend! Whatever you're looking for for your next event, I truly believe Reggie and his team can make it happen!

My husband and I were gifted an in-home, 4 course meal with Chef Reggie as a wedding gift - and he did not disappoint! He is so friendly and personable. He took the time to connect with us beforehand to figure out what kind of food we liked/didn't like, how much we were wanting him to share about his preparation/cooking process, if there was anything in particular that we were hoping for that evening, lots of thoughtful details. You can tell he truly has a passion for cooking and wants to share the joy he gets from it with his guests. By creating delicious dishes and a warm, exciting ambiance, Chef Reggie truly gives you a taste to remember!! Highly recommend him for any event you're wanting to hold!

Proof, Reggie was going to issue a refund and never did

Contacted on 1/4/23 to book a date for 2/10/2023. Very responsive until after he received deposit, than he went silent. His invoice stated we would be receiving a "Chef Table Experience" of 6-8 plated courses for a party of four. Following paying the invoice on 1/5/2023 Reggie went silent and non responsive to phone calls, text and emails. Finally made contact with Reggie via phone to attempt to chat about his ideas of menu and to give him our food restrictions, he than promise to have several menus to my inbox by end of that day. We than could pick and choose from there. He went silent again and "Menu's" were never received. 2 days before our dinner, he texted one (1) menu that was not impressive as a "Chef Table Experience", pretty typical menu we could do for ourselves and certainly not at $140 pp. (which included rice balls, bread and potatoes.) When I received his one menu from my guest, I than emailed and texted Reggie this message: * He did not respond back to my messages but send my guest a text stating he did receive my message and he would refund. **See screenshot attached. This is to notify you that I have elected to terminate the agreement between Taste to Remember, i.e. Reggie with you. Termination will be effective immediately, 2/8/2023. You may contact me if you have any questions. Here are the reason why. 2/9/23 Good morning Reggie We have made several attempts to get a hold of you by phone and text to review your invoice and what the "Chef Table Experience" that includes 6-8 courses as described below. You made the contract with me and I chose included XXXX in our conversations as they are our guests. Not to be the sole person receiving your information. You were very responsive when I first made contacted with you around 1/3/23, and then sent me an invoice on 1/5/2023 for which I paid $ 371.49 as a deposit on 1/6/2023 with balance due following our dinner experience with you. At this point I included XXXX to be part of our conversations for food restrictions. You chose to communicate with her vs me on a more than few occasions and you did not include me. Than you went silent again. Your first excuse what your assistant went out on maternity leave and you were busy. Your second excuse this week was family emergency that prevented you from returning calls or texts and most importantly to send the menus. Attempted contact with you via phone and text. 1/5/23 1/6/23 At this 1/7/23, you did call and facetime, to review our food restrictions. And you promised to get us 2-3 menus that night via email for us to review and change if needed. (French/Italian) Than in the late evening of 2/8 (after business hours) you sent XXXX a text with only this menu shown below, no options. And as of 2/9 as I write this email I have not heard from you, the day before our dinner. The menu you sent to XXXX on 2/8/2023, and not me is by far is not an "Chefs Table Experience for 4@ $140.00pp $560.00. For All inclusive 6-8 course plated chefs table dining experience" as stated on your invoice. I am requesting that you refund my deposit as you have not fulfilled your part of the deal. Menu Text to XXXX on 2/8/23 This from Reggie Starter: Arancini di Riso - "Sicilian Rice Balls" (fresh herbs, fontina cheese, arborio rice, panko) Bruschetta (fresh mozzarella, tomato, fresh basil, olive oil, crostini) Entree: Filet Mignon w/Chimichurri Sides: Potatoes Au Gratin (gruyère, parmesan, white cheddar) Grilled Assorted Veggies (red bell pepper, asparagus, white onion, brussel sprouts, summer squash, zucchini) Dessert: Chocolate Truffle Mousse

A Taste to Remember" says it all! Reggie prepared a birthday experience for six adults and three pre teens that was amazing. It started with a charcuterie plate of the fresh cheeses, meats, and extremely tasty crackers. The second course, a Caprese salad, was made with perfectly fresh heirloom tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. The main course consisted of either a perfectly cooked Wagu steak or fresh salmon accompanied by red potatoes and green beans. The steaks were the best I have ever had... and I have a lot of years of experience. The meal was followed by an amazing chocolate torte and Port wine. Yes, we ate it all, including my special surprise two pound ribeye steak. We really appreciated all of the locally sourced foods incorporated into our meal, your wine suggestions for each course and the great service. We appreciated the clean kitchen at the end of dinner too! Reggie and Debbie, thanks for being a part of our family experience.

I recently hired Chef Reggie with Taste To Remember to cater my Murder Mystery Dinner in Cambria. Reggie created the perfect menu to compliment the event such as, Mystery Stuffed Mushrooms, Super Sleuth Salad, Get a Clue Stuffed Chicken, and Crime Scene Cake. Everything was delicious! Reggie and his staff were accommodating, professional, friendly and fun. Reggie's food, his staff, and his little added touches, certainly contributed to and evening of memories. I had tried to get in touch with Kym regarding the pizza menu and certain special requests. After repeated emails and phone calls, plus an extra Yelp inquiry to nudge her, I finally got a response. My planner also reached out several weeks before the wedding with no success. This was a recurring issue. I understand wedding season is busy but my planner and myself were not contacted until 6-7 days prior to my wedding. There were other logistical things to figure out and the communication fell absolutely short. I also requested in multiple emails that I would like to purchase extra cheeseboards/grazing boards to have a more elaborate spread. This was never acknowledged so I had assumed I would be billed later or extra charges on my invoice would cover the request. Nope- they ran out of food incredibly early for my cocktail hour and did not even clear the area. At the actual event, I had 60 people and purchased food for 68 to account for vendors etc. There were 3 small pizza trays on a table and they were being eaten by a single table at a time. Some people did not receive food or waited so long they just gave up and ate meatballs and salad. I acknowledge that the DJ called guests too quickly. Not the catering team's fault. But even when he slowed down and people were fine waiting, it was still an abnormally long wait. There could have been a second table or more pizza trays or something. 3, 10-11" pizzas to be split amongst a table of ten is not reasonable. The slices are thin and people started taking bigger portions of sides cuz there wasn't enough pizza in time. I understand that there was an issue with where the "kitchen" was set up, versus where the food table was located (a 200 ft walk), but there was extra staff to assist. Also- this issue could have been solved much earlier and planned better IF THERE WAS COMMUNICATION. So disappointed. When people actually did get food, they said the pizza was good but I've had good pizza elsewhere and that's where I'll be going for it. The star is for the meatballs which is all I ate as the bride. I was one of the people that gave up on pizza since it took so long. My husband said it was good but he also only got a single piece. Bummer.
