Their shrimp in special sauce is to die for! Sure everything else is great but I've not tasted anything like this! I'm going back just to satisfy my shrimp cravings! A pile of rice and green salad with a beer... heaven! Definitely worth the wait in line!

Wow, what a find. We bought the oysters separately, but the restaurant served them to us (which BTW were amazing too). We proceeded to order a bunch of shared dishes from the restaurant too, wow, wow, wow, oh so ono! Everything from the razor clams, squid, sardines and cockles (my fav) was amazingly ono. Love this place, would definitely make it a pit-stop again when in the area. Enjoy!

I was craving grilled fish! Twice a week we run the gauntlet of front line seafood restaurants here…read morebecause our português classes are here at the Mar port and we have to pass the incredible smells of seafood being grilled on charcoal. We have not been to this specific restaurant yet so in the spirit of equal opportunity for all of them we decided to give it a try. Specifically this one has a large outdoor terrace that is very long and accommodating for outdoor dining. Started its large prawns the octopus and finally he grilled red snapper. What a great meal to celebrate our one year anniversary of permanently moving to Portugal.

Ordered 1/2 dose of sardines (6-7 pieces) and the monkfish and rice. I was blown away at how good the sardines were with the crispy salty skin. I honestly thought I'd have one piece and then be done but I couldn't stop eating it. The monkfish was a huge bowl filled with shrimp also and was made for sharing between 2-4 people. If I went back I'd just get the sardines. This restaurant seemed more formal setting which I'm not a big fan of. Service was quick even with it being very busy

Definitely recommend making a reservation, I found it impressive that the hostess's reservation system was essentially a notebook and pen in this digital age. We did not see much of our waiter, since the restaurant was extremely busy and filled up with diners. Standouts: 1. Razor clams - I'll always get these if I see it on the menu. Cooked in this incredible garlic sauce. 2. Fish and seafood cataplana - delicious, tomato-forward seafood stew; I liked the version that we had the night before more which came with rice and was more filling. But this was basically a never-ending bowl of fish, clams, mussels, and shrimp. Add to that the fact that the restaurant like most in Porto did not have A/C and I emerged feeling like I had been sitting in a sauna. Skipped dessert; I had my eye on the Weeel! froyo truck parked outside. One more nit - the metal chairs are not comfortable at all for sitting a long time in.
