Even after the consultation, he was quick to respond to my emails and continued to offer valuable help. You have to be patient which is why some reviews are negative, but it's worth it--he'll make sure you get the right guidance and outcome. If you're serious and not here to waste time, he's the right guy to have on your side. Highly recommend!

I asked if there was any other way since I had moved and didn't have a printer or scanner to use. He said I should just fill out the forms and email them back, but they were not fillable forms unless you have adobe acrobat. Luckily I have that software, but come on man, it's 2024. Get docusign or something. Gave me an impossible timeline for me to jump on the phone call. We were scheduled for 2 hours after my initial call, but then in the email he said he needs all documentation and forms filled out 1 hour before our consultation. So I had to go through trying to figure out how to get his documents signed and get all my documentation together. Not a realistic time frame so I asked to reschedule. He sent me an email to reschedule the next week but I decided I wanted to wait until I had something actionable. I requested to wait until after I had moved out and wasn't only speculating about my landlord's actions (I didn't want to pay $300-$600 for a phone call when I may be wrong about what my landlord was doing). He then emailed me to refer me to attorneys in Tacoma and Everett. Once my landlord had actually done what I was speculating they would do he declined my matter. When I inquired about other attorneys in Seattle he stated he was the only one. When I asked why he'd refer me if I'm in Seattle and the apartment I was renting was in Seattle he again only stated he declined my matter.

The first guardian assigned to us, Pat, had very little bedside manner toward me or my brother, and it was a shock to suddenly lose all say in his care and decisions. It's difficult to hand over control to someone who doesn't yet know your loved one. Over time, though, Pat and I learned how to work together. I never doubted that she had my brother's best interests at heart, and I think she came to see that I did too. I was always there for him -- meeting him at the hospital, going to appointments, and staying with him which helped both Pat and my brother, and also eased his financial burden. After Pat retired, Beth stepped in temporarily, and then Quinn became his permanent guardian. Beth and Quinn have been absolute delights to work with. We are now approaching 11 years with Ohana, and as we enter what feels like "the beginning of the end" for my sweet brother, I am deeply grateful for their continued care and support. The entire Ohana team has been wonderful in helping us navigate my brother's estate and care. If you are fortunate enough to have someone like Beth or Quinn assigned to you, you've truly won the lottery. They are compassionate, dedicated professionals who always put the well-being of your loved one first. This has been a long, emotional journey -- but having Quinn's support through it all has been a blessing. She has worked tirelessly for my brother and has been nothing short of amazing. Thank you, Quinn, for your kindness, dedication, and care.

The person (Laurel) who came to the meeting asked us to explain what we are looking for (which we did, again), and then offered to send us materials by email to review - a brochure, fee schedule, and 4-page letter about who they are. She told us, if we were still interested, to contact them and they would setup an hour-long meeting with the owner, Mark. This is the 3rd company we've looked at for our needs. The first 2 companies were invested in talking with us, and we had valuable introductory meetings. This meeting with Ohana FC was a waste of our time. I do not wish to review all the materials sent to determine if they will meet our needs. From this contact, these are not people who we would trust for our care of finances and health.
