This place and especially Terry was a breath of fresh air. He went above and beyond and I could have not asked for a better experience. I left there after spending about $1400 on a guitar...but felt better about who I bought it from than what I bought. I will never again make the mistake of going into the chain competitor...with all the juvenile wanna be guitar gods acting like I'm a bother. These guys at Tarpley's will make you feel at home.

Not only did he charge me more than the price he quoted that we had agreed upon, he didn't adjust the springs in the tremolo bridge at all, leaving it uneven (depressed toward the butt end, and in a lopsided manner) and unable to hold consistent string tension. I'm not convinced that he actually knows how to do a tremolo bridge setup. And to top it all off, when he did the fret leveling, he never bothered to tape the fingerboard, and left scuffs and scratches everywhere! I hear he's great with acoustic guitars, but DO NOT TAKE YOUR HIGH-END ELECTRIC GUITAR TO HIM. Honestly, even Guitar Center would have been several steps up.
