The best target ever. We don't even live near Selinsgrove come here when we traveled for vacation. We always get here to stretch our legs get some food blah blah blah. Starbucks here is amazing. Target is also amazing itself. I actually got this sick hat. It's pretty cool. read more

I hadn't been to this Target for some time, but... what an improvement! Some remodeling, lively music, bright aisles, and some new merchandise arrangements. It has been turned into a very nice store! I will shop here now, instead of just going in to pick up the occasional online order. read more

I'll start with this, we have a big box retailer 5 miles from our home and we drive 21 miles to shop here. Why? The coupons, rebates and deals they offer. They might be slightly more expensive compared to the other retailer but it is a far nicer shopping experience and the store is far cleaner. The staff members here actually talk to you and I've never had a bad experience here. We buy all of our household items here and if we are in the area for whatever reason curbside pick up is always a good option instead of going in. They always have multiple checkout lines open. I normally get my flu shot here because I'm already there shopping. They have a small grocery area that you can find some good deals in. The electronics department is fantastic because they aren't trying to sell you on things, they are just answering questions. My wife was looking for a new Apple Watch that their site said they had one on hand. The guy had to go search for it in the back and finally found it. I'm always a big fan of customer service especially these days. read more

I love the Selinsgrove store but it's so fare for me to travel. Target needs to get on the ball and build more stores! I live in Trevorton and have to go to the Selinsgrove store. If DG can have a store in every town, then Target could bring more stores to the communities. Please build one in the Shamokin Area!!! I love Target. I spend more money collectively at Target than probably any other single store. I go weekly, sometimes multiple times a week. I buy everything there. So, when I had a bad experience at one this weekend, I felt the store needed some accountability. I live in VA, and was in PA visiting family. I spent an hour or so shopping, bought a bunch of stuff, checked out and then went to the photo center to try to print some photos for the frames I had just bought. I've popped in this Target many times over the past decade or so as I mentioned I have family in the area, and whenever I'm there I sweat BULLETS which is uncomfortable and makes me rush--my cashier even said to me, when she saw me sweating and trying to fan myself off, "I know, it's always so hot here--I'm ALWAYS hot in here!" I also have a herniated disc in my back and so it makes it almost excruciatingly painful to stand still for really any amount of time (I can walk and move around fine but it's standing still that really hurts). I got to the photo center, and had bags of stuff in my hands and was dripping sweat. I could barely stand the pain in my back was getting so bad, so I politely asked a short-haired blonde woman behind the counter if I could borrow one of the stools they had back behind the desk literally TURNED OVER because it wasn't in use--there were 2. She looked at me blankly and said "those are for staff." You could clearly tell by looking at me that I was in physical discomfort and pain, and I was trying to use one of their stools they weren't even using just for 10 minutes to print pictures for my dad's 65th birthday. It was so rude I could not even believe it. The Target where I live has a bench out for that exact reason, and all I asked was to quickly borrow one of the two stools they had sitting there turned over that no one was using, and she couldn't even be bothered to apologize or say "let me find something else that you could use though." I said "Okay," went back to the photo screen and when no one said anything else to me I said fuck it and decided to leave. I went to CVS where they had stools for each photo monitor and the staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. NEWSFLASH BITCHY BLONDE TARGET EMPLOYEE: When a paying customer comes up to you in physical pain and asked to borrow something to sit on that's not even being used at the time, you should probably HELP THE CUSTOMER. Not just flatly say "no" and ignore me. Rude!!! read more

i bought valentines card that said there was 16 in the box....... i only got 12!!!!! This made me real mad, I wanted to go back for a refund, but the store is so far away. They were even "scratch and sniff" cards. Too bad 4 of my friends didn't get them. Two lanes were open when there were about 12 people wanting to check out, this was inconvenient. I would not recommend going to this target if you want valentines cards. This trip left me extremely disappointed read more

While the store is usually well stocked and they can have some good bargains; AVOID purchasing on line and think that you'll pick it up in store. This is the second time that I've had nightmarish experiences with this and this store. After the first one over two years ago, I thought I'd give it a try, because I heard it could be convenient. It wasn't! I ordered 5 items, and selected certain colors and descriptives, going by what was available for pick up in-store. When ordering, it said that they would be available in 2 hours.I received an email, telling my that my items were "in store and available for pick up." The next day, I stopped by, and only 1 bed sheet was there. Shawn at the front desk was borderline worthless and rude! He told me that I should go home and recheck my email. I told him, I didn't need to recheck my email, I know what it said, "Your items are in store and available for pickup." He "didn't know what to tell me, sometimes that happens and that's just the way that it is." and I'd have to check back in a day or two. Several hours later, I received an email that said, " Your order is not available in store, please sign in and change your delivery." Upon trying, it was saying that they were going to charge me more money! I had a Live Chat pop up. I used it. "Michael" said that he would take care of it, there would be no additional charges and he would ship it to the house.... and then the chat went dead. : / I checked on the order and nothing changed. I called the phone number for help. I reached an outsourced phone tech, whose Indian dialect was MUCH better than her spoken English. I could barely understand her, nor her me; and I am proficient in several languages and very good at understanding dialect influenced English. Sad. Very Sad, After 10 minutes, I hung up, we were getting NO WHERE. I called another number that took me to the same end, except that I could understand him and he me. He was going to ship it to the house, but my card would be charged shipping! No No No NO. I hung up. I found a number for Customer relations and called. I explained the whole situation and the girl tried to help, then turned me over to her Supervisor. I told the Super that I was at my wits end and was on the phone now for TWO HOURS! I explained that I was in Customer Service for 35 years and that this was the WORST Customer Service that I had EVER seen. I would have fired every one of them! I told her that my patience was empty. I wanted something done and NOW! She gave me this long speech with 5 options, which did I want? By the third option all I heard was the Charlie Brown, "Wa Wa Wa WHAWa?" I said, "Look. I want this item shipped and at my house within days, without charging me anything more than what I am already paying." She said, well I can do this and this, but you could receive the original order, or both orders, or maybe it would be back ordered...blah, blah, blah... OR I could just cancel. I said Ya know what, I am done, just cancel it. SHE ASKED ME THREE TIMES... "So, Sir, you would like to cancel this order?" I said "How many times do I have to say yes?" " Just cancel the damn thing!" "I AM DONE WITH TARGET! I will NEVER spend even .25 at Target EVER again! read more
