Eclipse Day. My Beloved and I left Denver at 4 a.m. and drove several hours north, stopping in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Why Scottsbluff? Several towns along the "path of totality" - small to mid-sized - formed the 2017 Nebraska Eclipse Coalition, to attract and entertain tourists like me and my Beloved with events, speakers and promotional materials that guided our decision to visit. The Coalition included Scottsbluff. So we breakfasted at Shari's Café & Pies - a sort of mashup of Denny's and Marie Calendar's - and at about 9 a.m., crossed the highway to wait for darkness in the parking lot of the local Target store. This review is written to thank Target's management for allowing our group of 30-or-so cars to tie up space for the couple of hours it took for the eclipse to happen. While their decision wasn't entirely altruistic - my wife, along with a number of other visitors, used the downtime prior to "totality" to shop - the store's staff was nonetheless gracious and neighborly, just what one would expect to find in a small town on the far western edge of Nebraska. What's more, the Scottsbluff Target was good to their employees, allowing them to step outside during totality so they wouldn't miss the remarkable event. I feel like I go here way too often. Smaller than Target stores in larger cities but pretty decent for our area. Decent selection in each department. You can almost always count on some good stuff on clearance that you may be into. I do recommend checking the Cartwheel app before going to possibly save some big bucks. A remodel has been done as of early 2017. A Starbucks is now located inside the Target. Parking is good and store is well run. Service by employees is okay to good. read more

went in with my friend to have a girls day and shop. we were enjoying ourselves (and our coffee) until we were stopped by a short older dark haired woman that worked there. she INTERRUPTED US and asked us if we needed help. we stated that we didn't need any assistance then thanked her. she then proceeded to stalk us on the end cap of the isle, and interrupt a SECOND time and this time raising her voice at us, "what was that?". As if this woman is trying to start something with us, when we are half way down the isle clearly not near her or talking to her. It was clear to us that she had a problem with us immediately. We then see a security cop come to the isle and check us out and chat with the lady. Then comes a security manager and he asks us if we need assistance. I stated to him what I stated to his coworker. no we do not need any assistance. I informed him that an employee has been harassing us and we are just trying to shop. We stopped shopping because we were sick of being TARGETED AT TARGET. I don't recommend shopping here unless you want to be followed and harassed! 0/5 read more

Same kind of Target store you come to expect from the chain. I am glad Scottsbluff has one, the town sure needs one.

I ordered a latte and while waiting for guy to make it I started to notice how dirty every thing was. Counter top where smeared as they had been washed with dirt water with chunks of crap stuck to them. My shoe was sticking to floor where something must had been spilled and not wiped up. When guy went to hand me my drink there was a 1/4'' of liquid on top and running down sides. He said this is the way people like them. This Target is much much smaller than most and very out of date... ( but it is in a small town). It looks like one of the original Target stores. The store seemed cluttered and not very inviting like I'm used to seeing at other Targets. read more

Love target. Everyone just makes you feel like your at home. There are some rude workers there but I still go to target. I love the nice sales that target has! Love that they have self checkout it really does come in handy. read more
