The shop was a great find, a neat little shop in a classic building that had tons of charm. When we walked in, we were greeted by the owner (we assume) and her dog (my wife wanted to hijack her dog) they were both super friendly, and we enjoyed our experience. The shirts are amazingly soft and great colors and designs. They also had candles/jewelry and other items for sale. We ended up buying some shirts at the shop and are looking to order some online as they are set up for online ordering and shipping. Nebraska surprised us with how picturesque it was, and how friendly the people are, and the Nebraska pride is evident in this shop. We highly recommend this shop; if you are in the area, you should stop in and visit and support a local business.

With every trip to any location,…read morefor whatever reason....she must find the nearest quilt shop and spend money on something I bet she already has in a storage bin in the room she had to remodel to stack the storage bins in. She even has some fancy pants quilting machine that is damn near too big to fit in the room its housed in. When this ginormous freak of nature she calls a sewing machine was installed, the poor bastard that delivered it, ahem installed it, had to take off the screen to the window and move the parts in through that opening, because the DOOR WAS NOT BIG ENOUGH....its a damn good thing her sweat shop, I mean sewing room is on the bottom floor. but I digress. So, the quilt shop...its what you expect in a quilt shop and for the uninitiated please allow me to describe. There is always tons of fabric, thats a given as quilts are made of fabric and quilt is in the name of the business. There are always samples of the kits and projects available for sale hanging in every available piece of real estate, on the walls, hanging from the ceiling, on shelves and counter tops. There is usually a low whisper of music from some unseen radio near the cutting table. As for the staff, I've seen various ladies at these shops. You have the token older lady, most likely the owner or mother of the owner who stands guard in these places and runs the register. Along with her you have a middle aged lady who runs the joint. She could be the owner, or store manager and is either extremely friendly and genuinely interested in "where are you from" and "can I help u find something", or would rather you don't ask questions just give me your money and get out. In the back there is always a bunch of desks assembled into a work area. The quilt shop will host events where ladies such as my mother (ladies with a passion for quilting, not the lady whom is sweet as sugar to her grandkids and I make sure to tell them "thats not the lady I grew up with.") will gather and discuss the finer points of long arm quilting, needle point or other tasks in the sewing arts. I've been to more than a few of these places. I even seriously considered opening a quilt shop to give my mom a place to go, keep her off the street and away from drugs; the boys club wont let her in. If my description is a stereo type, than this place fits the description perfectly. Theirs are the ladies who are friendly, not the frazzled stressed out kind. I'm looking for the quilt shop that figured it out and puts in a man cave in the back with a TV, lazy boy and cooler full of beer for the man-folk. That would be awesome. Word.

The bundle sales, signature collection items, size, store layout, store sign, store feel interior, and the aroma of fun scents. This is located in Monument Mall which is the very small mall in Western Nebraska. Many other stores common to every mall are missing at this mall, but Bath & Body Works has it's place and it's not a bad copy version in a small town. It's legit the exact store I see from small town to big cities. All the stock and seasonal scents are present. No short cuts just because of low population or small area. If anything, this location of Bath & Body Works in the middle of the Great Plains is a piece of GOLD. They don't even HAVE market competition so the low population will ALL go here for all the girly smelly products & such. I did not see a Yankee Candle and there is definitely no Victoria Secret (who also sells lotion, shower gel, and stuff - it's not just lingerie there boys!) Overall: lotions, shower gels, candles, scented house oils, bubble bath, glitter sprays & lotions (don't judge me! Haha). Bring your business here!
