Why try harder? This is one of two Targets in town, so why do they need to worry about whether customers have bad experiences here? A disgruntled cashier Etta made a point of giving me a not-so-nice look when I came to her register to be rung up. Even better - she made a point of putting my makeup remover, Qtips and deodorant in the same bag with the Soft Scrub bleach and daily shower spray. But hey, I moved here after living in Minneapolis, where I walked by the Target Corp. offices in the skyway practically daily. What would I know about shopping at "good" Target stores. read more

Love target as a whole however the clerks that check could not be more rude, it's been every visit and I would like to think I just got someone having a bad day however I feel I need to find another source for my purchases- no more rude service for me, target should invest in secret shoppers and find the right people who love to be around other people! Mind you, I had an unpleasant experience with the Victory Drive Target. I called the complaint line and was assured that someone would contact me. I left my phone number and email a couple of weeks ago and no one contacted me. It was bad enough that my unpleasant experience was treated as if it were trivial - especially the person who took my complaint. I'm specifically writing a bad review for the Victory Drive store, and NOT the Savannah Mall location. It's funny how when you type in the search engine for the Abercorn Savannah Mall location it gives separate reviews from the Victory Drive location, and unlike the Savannah Mall location the Victory Drive location uses reviews from both stores which is misleading. People want it to be clear whether the specific location that they had a good or bad experience gets credit for the rating that it has earned. So, it doesn't say very much about the Victory Drive location at all. Management seems real blaze over there about how business is conducted by it's associates. There are actually a few associates there with sparkling, helpful personalities that carry the whole place. You are lucky if most of them will even speak to you. They walk right past you without speaking or offering any help even if they are standing right next to you. Pathetic! I will spare the trouble of going into detail about my experience at all. You have to be a low maintenance customer to not be irritated, and God-forbid if you need help, some of them act as if you interrupted them them off of vacation in Aruba to get help from them. How dare you ask them for help. They are following in the footsteps of Wal-Mart. People have gotten to the point that they expect to have low expectations of that Wal-Mart. When Target first arrived here in Savannah, it was impressive. I'll just leave my fond memories of them in the past where everything else has been left behind with these folks. read more

Hi, I just want to mention that Target really needs to clearly state in the back of receipts or anywhere else clearly visible their rule that any left out purchased item should be retrieved *within 24 hours.* Why am I saying this? Because of my most unpleasant experience at Target E Victory Savannah today. So on Mar 18 Sunday my husband and I shopped at the Target and we picked up several items, including an iphone case, food blender, Loreal hair conditioner and some other miscellaneous item. However, the check-out person failed to place one item (the hair conditioner), among others, in the plastic bag, and we noticed this item was missing as soon we arrived home. Because we all have a weekday job, we/I couldn't go to that Target to retrieve that 6 something dollar conditioner right away that day. So, we went in today (April 24) to ask if there was any purchased hair conditioner left behind, the store manager and a different check-out person said that there was no such thing and furthermore they could not provide us the item (or store credit) because we did not come within 24 hours. Not to mention that we were not informed or aware of this rule (becasue it is not written anywhere!), another personnel (male by the appearance) who worked at the returns & customer service completely treated us as if we were frauds/shoplifters trying to trick them and get that mere few dollar hair conditioner. He claimed he'd check the security camera and went away with our receipt, came back in few mins, and said, with his fierce stare at us, we did not miss anything and Target did provide everything we purchased. I honestly don't believe he had checked the camera recordings or could confirm what item I was talking about because the only information he had was the receipt that lists all other products together and the conditioner was just listed as "health beauty cosmetics" in the receipt. How can he even know/recognize from the video recording what specific item that I was talking about?!?! My husband politely asked if we could check the camera together and the Target person mumbled and refused. I didn't want to make any scene further over that silly, cheap item, so we left, still unanswered, having felt terribly humiliated, unpleasant. Honestly, IF we were really shoplifters or frauds, and IF we really picked up this receipt randomly from somewhere to trick them, we would have claimed for much more expensive items like the blender ($99). I never ever want to go back to this Target. Though I should mention that the store manager was very polite and acted very appropriate. The other male employee was NOT. I feel SOOOOOOOOO stupid to be this mad and spending my precious time typing all this stuff over such a small thing, but the way Target responded concerning this was completely unprofessional and rude. I also believe and understand that Target constantly deals with weird customers, but as someone who honestly did not receive her favorite conditioner and so merely trying to get it, I am SO stunned AND MAD about all this experience! At the same time this is very sad because I used to love shopping at this Target! read more

Today I went to target to buy some shelves for my house. I paged for a team member's help when I couldn't find them in the aisle and Latasha quickly arrived to assist me. Not only did she get the shelves from the back for me, and have them waiting for me at the front when I had completed my shopping, but when they were a different color than the ones on display, she tirelessly looked through the store's inventory list and online to find the correct ones. She ensured there was another team member to load it into my truck once I finished checking out. Through all of this process she continued to smile and make me feel like it was of no bother at all to be helping me. Such wonderful customer service! read more

I come to this target all the time, and have never been helped by an employee. The employees don't care about keeping the lines moving, and they don't know where anything is. This target is a mess. Today I was actually yelled at by a cashier, it's one thing that the cashiers don't care about keeping the lines moving, and aren't helpful, but the fact that I was actually bullied by the front end staff is astounding. I tried to pay, and my transaction did not process because of an error on the pos machine, when I tried to go to a different register to pay, I was yelled at for being inpatient, and was told to wait in line like every other guest. I had already been in line for 20 minutes, even when I explained the situation, the cashier continued to yell at me. A manager tried to check on the situation, but the cashier sent her away before I had any input, and another cashier decided to join her in yelling at me at this point, further keeping me from being able to talk to the manager. read more
