This Target is a dump. Especially in the shoe department. I stopped going inside willingly to this Target store in Dartmouth, Ma, store unless I'm dragged in. Other Target stores are better and much much cleaner and organized. I wish corporate would have more oversight on these lagging stores. Target is a great place to get stuff for the house, fashion and health and beauty products. This time, I stopped at this one to check out some fans for the beach house. I was in the vicinity so it was an easy stop to make. Their prices and their quality are very good, sometimes a tad higher than Walmart or HomeGoods, but they have a good selection of the items and they keep their shelves very well stocked. I've been coming to this target for many years now. I like coming here, and love the convenience of having both CVS and Starbucks inside. I like that there's a good amount of vegan and gluten free options for my diet, and it tends to have better pricing on certain household items I purchase. The one negative about this place is that there never seems to be enough cashiers. While I personally prefer self checkout due to social anxiety, there are often very long lines and I've noticed only one or two registers open. These long lines offer deter me from wanting to shop here, so I sometimes will seek out another place if I can. read more

Awful, awful, awful customer service. This Target use to be the go to place but Walmart is now better, unreal! Ordered 2 items online to pick up today, arrived and the young lady operated in reverse mode. I literally waited 11 minutes for her to go to the back and go get my 2 items. Another associate FINALLY saw the line building and came over (she was off the block but was walking out and called for assistance). This is an awful store! Only one person working the service desk AND pick up. Definitely not her fault but wow! There was such a line. The First Lady in line said her order was ready but the Target associate had to go get it off the shelf. Like what?! I won't do any more pick up orders here. read more

me and my sister were shopping at target like every other customer. we went to self check out and were being stared down and i'm sure the lady thought we were stealing. my sister had scanned something twice on accident and the lady had given her nasty customer service. if you are going to work retail at least fake a smile, don't look miserable. 1/5 is being way to generous but for the sake of yelp 1 star it is. read more

I was here back in May. I was staying nearby and came here to pick up some snacks and drinks for the weekend. Everything I needed was easy to locate as the layout for every Target store is practically the same. They had some decent deals and their prices were all reasonable. I paid for my items using one of the self checkout kiosks and the mobile app. read more

This target used to be nice but it has gone so down hill.... The store at any given day at any given time looks like a hurricane went through it. The price gauging, the lines that wrap around the store, never having what you need.... This store is not worth it by any means. read more

Good store much better than going to Walmart 1 minute away. Yea they charge more but it's a better experience especially if you order on the app and just come pick it up. Only reason I gave it a 3 instead of 4 stars is because if you do shop inside for some reason lately they have almost NOONE working registers and 1 long line. I absolutely love Target and especially this location. I practically live there haha! I find the baristas friendly at the Starbucks and I find the products are logically located as well as the staff being friendly! You can't go wrong with quality products at an affordable price with a clean and organized look unlike Wal-Mart. read more

I was there this morning and the two people I had encountered were rude. I found I imposed upon them and less that helpful. The girl in self checkout was also rude. I inadvertently did not read the sign above that read credit or debit not cash. She then said in a not nice way no cash here. I apologized for that and she the said read and pointed to the sign!!! Any time I try to reach any department at the Dartmouth location the phone rings continuously then just hangs up. Its very frustrating. This is the case on many separate occasions. I'm all done with them. Good luck. read more

It's kinda in the middle of no where on the map, but it's so worth the trip. As a city girl, I know when I'm in a "good Target" with the good stuff, and this is one of them. It's a nicer Target than most, and it has the nicer lines that Target carries (not sure if it has the nicest as far as clothes, but it has really good stuff). We did some Christmas shopping, food shopping, and stopped at the Starbucks inside. The local mall is very close, and it's located in a shopping center with lots of other stores. This Target is a longer haul from where we live, but we would definitely return. read more

The customer service is spotty. The first time I went here I asked the cashier for change for a $20 notwithstanding that I was using my debit card to pay for my items. She said she didn't know if it was possible, and proceeded to complete the transaction as if the question was never asked. She then handed my receipt and proceeded to ring up the next customer. I had to get back in line with a pack of gum in order to break the $20. The next time I went the cashier I had was uber sweet. She even went looking for and scanned in a coupon for me. What service. So, that's why I say the service is hit or miss. As for the layout - not my fav but I'm sure I can get used to it over time. I'm pretty annoyed, though, that they don't carry something as basic as Eco Styler hair gel. Like, wth? Even rite aid sells Eco styler. So, it's a tad sus that they don't carry it if you ask me. read more

Arrived at 10:02pm and my wife walked in the door knowing that we needed ONLY a box of diapers. Other people were checking out. Instead of allowing us to spend our money on the item we wanted, we were sent to Walmart. I don't understand customer service of this type. We have litterally spent thousands of dollars on diapers at target and I will not buy another pack. I understand if we were not even in the store, but if this was a locally owned business we would have been helped out. Any mom buying diapers at 10pm needs all the help she can get. What a joke that Target invests anything in its local community. read more

I simply love Target. They have an extremely clean, upbeat feeling in the store that makes me want to deplete any money I have in my purse. The workers are fine, the shoppers are also pleasant for the most part. When here it feels like a whole other world in comparison to Walmart. They even dabble in carrying "higher end" goods in the beauty and clothing departments. I love the dollar section and the vast baby department. They even have a Starbucks in this location which is great!!! read more

I went there last night and will never go back. I brought in a cell phone that had not been activated due to an employee error. Customer Service sent me to the tech person in electronics who then proceeded to waste a half hour of my time trying to activate the phone. The worker then told me I needed to buy a phone card to get it activated. After purchasing a phone card, she told me that the phone could not be activated and that the phone card was non returnable. The employee told me to come back tomorrow and she could spend more time with it. Over the top frustrating! In the meantime a couple in their 90's were constantly being ignored while they were trying to get help with a television set. Target claims that you are their guest but you feel more like a loser if you go to the store. Online shopping is fine but stay out of these stores with employees that just do not care about your well being. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! read more

I can't believe I've never reviewed target. Anyways, I swear that Target's "target age range" (forgive me I just don't know what else to call it) is 25-45 and female. I go in with a friend of mine, and we will be in for a half an hour. Every girl that we add to that equation the time spent in store goes up fifteen minute per person. This particular Target ain't any great shakes, but I like it. It has a starbucks, which is huge around here. We don't have Starbucks around here AT ALL. And it also has a place to eat, I don't know what kind of food as I haven't ate there. It's a good sized store, and it also has a supermarket at this location. The only drawback is that the parking lot sucks, but if you park on the side of the store it's less busy over there. read more

This place is great for grocery shopping (as a college student) and is in a pretty accessible location. They have a lot of stuff I do want, and a lot of stuff I don't want at all. Basically, they are well-stocked. One complaint, they cater to peasant console gamers but offer little to nothing in the way of PC accessories. Oh also there's a Starbucks so there's that. read more
