This is the worst service that I have ever received. We ordered a couch and an ottoman. The store ordered the incorrect color ottoman, shame on me for not seeing their error. Then THEY cancelled the delivery, without posting a refund. When I try to talk to a manager to resolve the issue I am left on hold for 17 minutes AFTER DROPPING THE CALL TWICE. TERRIBLE COMPANY AND REFUSES TO CORRECT THEIR THREE ERRORS. read more

*** I must be fair and say that the New England Regional manager contacted me the very next day after my review he was horrified and very apologetic and assured me that he himself would be at the Dartmouth Ashley Furniture store in the next couple days. He was there like he stated, handled the problem and gladly fix the mistake that was made by the employees. he was very professional extremely apologetic and understanding. I told him I just couldn't believe the way I was treated and talk to, not one person said they were sorry and that's all I wanted instead of being called a liar when they were lying I am still waiting for my furniture to be delivered to the warehouse. It should be there by the end of this month, but I wanted to at least update the swift response and actions that were taken to make sure no other customer ever has to deal with what I dealt with!! read more

I bought my son a new bed room set here... before I bought it I asked if it needed a box spring or not because I prefer not to have one and was told it did not need one, well after purchasing in the beginning of November they scheduled delivery for the 30th of November while carelessly bringing my furniture in they dropped draws out and damaged them never mind the damage that must have been done in the way I reported the damage same day while they were still in my house "assembling" once they left I took a better look to realize there was damage all over the bed they barely screwed the bed together for my toddler and forgot slates for the mattress to sit on. I returned back to the store for assistance they told me I need to wait for a phone call from the warehouse so now 1 week my child has no bed to sleep in I went back again to the store to speak with Debbie the manager once again this time I explained I don't even want the furniture I haven't been able to use I just want my money back now I'm told I have to wait for a phone call from customer service even though I was still waiting on the first phone call for over a week so they have no problem taking my money but need to jump through hoops to get it back... well we're going on two weeks my toddler still has NO BED to sleep in and they're not doing anything about it 10/10 DO NOT recommend read more

Horror Show! Went in looking to buy a mattress and my experience was horrible. Went in a couple days earlier as I am in the market looking for a bed. I got priced out from my understanding for 1499 for a king from sales associate Diamond. Original price was 1699. They were honoring the 25% off they were running as a promotion for Presidents Day. A bed sells itself and everyone has their own specific type. I had narrowed it down to two places and ended up deciding to go with the one at Ashley's. I came in ready to purchase and was laying on the bed again, when the same sales associate Diamond came up to me seeing that I was back asked if I was interested in the mattress still. I replied yes and she said "what would you say if I could get the price lower?" Any consumer is ALWAYS looking for the cheapest price to pay. She comes back with $1125 and I said let's do the paper work. We get to the front and the games begin. She now says it's priced wrong as a queen. She said it shouldn't be that much of a difference. It then came out to 1800. So in the span of 2 days I have received 3 different prices on the same bed. On top of that I asked if I could pick up the mattress in the store and it was a $40 charge for that. I've never heard about getting charged a pick up fee for something you purchased. So then I question why she can't honor the price she just gave me it's not my fault she made a mistake in my eyes. And then Diamond gives me attitude saying she did not say the give me the original price of 1499 and taking zero accountability on what she said and her mistake. I then was all set because of the way things are going with being given attitude and the run around I said I'm all set I'll go somewhere else. That's when another employee stepped in and helped me out and finished the sale. I should have not have brought my business there after that but I loved the mattress. But for buying furniture in the future I will NEVER return because of the attitude and the way I was treated. read more

I have purchased several items from this store and this store is great when there is no issues with delivery of furniture but when there is damage they are a pain to deal with. I purchased an ottoman that I had delivered to the store and was picking up. When I got the ottoman home it was severely damaged luckily I was able to bring it back and have them order a new one. About a month goes by I call to get a status of the ottoman and from what it seemed like, they didn't even order a replacement and blamed the warehouse for having issues. It took a whole week to just get a simple answer and everyone I talked to when I called that store acted like they didn't know what was going on. But when I threatened to put a dispute on my credit card magically the ottoman was at the store the next day. Lastly when I get my "new"ottoman home I noticed all the scratches at the feet and a stain on the fabric. They didn't even get me a new ottoman this is definitely a used ottoman. I am done dealing with these people and I am just take the loss but I will never recommend them and will never come here again to finish furnishing my house. I will be doing business elsewhere. read more

The Dartmouth, MA store was the worse to deal with. Bought a set of furniture that was 230 more than online. Noticed once I got home. Called the store and the manager said I had to come back to process refunds. I had to waste over an hour driving to the store. They claimed I was incorrect when I clearly can read and showed her and she still said I was wrong. Testing my intelligence and saying the website has different prices and not managed by Ashley is crazy to me and insulting. I'm sorry I will NEVER do business with you again after this. Please do not contact me ever again regarding this transaction. Another negative is that the general store manger was watching from a far knowing that the assistant manager was dealing with very upset customers. Very cowardish to not handle your customers after a mistake that he processed originally. This store manager clearly doesn't have a clue about customer service or supporting his own staff. read more
