Worst visit ever to a Target. The cashier named Amber was rude. Gave me a attitude about buying 2 packages of toilet paper. My husband and I went to pick up items and she argued with me about it being only one per household, when the sign clearly states one per guest. Was rude and went and got another person involved who clearly also did not know the policy. She had a smart mouth and got loud. When proven wrong with photo from sign she then began to tell me to be quite and calm down. WHERE IS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The cashiers need to learn the store policy. I am a customer and I know the policy. Tired of people being rude. Without our business they would not have a job!!! read more

Update: This update is specific to the Trick or Treat event held this year on 10/26/19. I knew going in that Target's Paw Patrol Trick or Treat Event was a marketing tool to get kids and parents into the store to spend money. What I didn't expect was how cheap they'd make the event. There were five candy "stations" where nice crew members handed out candy to little kids. The candy consisted of Life Savers, Nerds, Starburst, Jawbreakers, and other choking hazards. Why on earth would you give this candy to toddlers?!? To top it off, my child had a total of six pieces of candy when she left the store and a toy I bought because--come on 6 pieces of candy at a trick or treating event!?!?!? If your going to only put in half the effort, why even have the event? Original Review: The Target in Lancaster has undergone a pretty extensive makeover. They've put in a large selection of cold/frozen foods and a bit more of a produce selection. While it's not quite a "Super" Target, it is a much larger selection of food. I like shopping at Targets for a variety of reasons. The people are always friendly, the items are of decent quality, and the prices are reasonable. The reason I only give this location 4 stars is due to the lack of open checkout lanes. On a good day there will be two open, usually there is only one. They installed self checkouts, but I've yet to actually see them open. Overall, a good place to shop, but plan a little extra time to checkout. read more

Employee started yelling at me and questions my health conditions while I was riding a car thing. I was using it respectfully and responsibly. I was not disturbing anyone. There was 3 extras available for others to use! (fully charged!) Even though I explained all of this to her she continued to make me get off the machine. also it 10pm and no one was there except a few others... I was trying to buy medicine. Love this Target. Staff are friendly and attentive. I use drive up orders a lot and rarely have to wait more than a few minutes.

I had to make a trip here to pick up a Rx for a family member. I've been to this Target a few times over the past 10 or so years. Not my go-to one, though. To tell the truth, over the years, it seems like the Big box chai date unable to offer as much in their brick and mortar locale. Much more offerings when you check out their website. I was actually quite surprised and happy roses this store was stocked. Granted, this visit I was here on a Saturday morning at 9 am; so their bigger customer rush was yet to come. Anyhow, the clothing sections were plenty. Not just clearance racks galore. I saw 3 different workers stocking and aligning the shelves as I wandered the store. The three ladies working the Pharmacy were very pleasant and friendly. The one who checked me out informed me of the different prescriptions: dosage directions; how best to take the pills; side effects. While I only took a skim over the plus size clothing, I would like to make a trip back here to take a more thorough look at what they offer! read more

The store Is not the biggest store in the world but it is a very nice Target store. I also think that they have good/nice little departments. I visited the Lancaster target store Friday, February 7, 2020 mid afternoon to exchange baby girl clothes that I had received from my baby shower this past November. I just had my baby last Monday and it turns out it is a boy not a girl so I was just going to exchange all the clothes I had received from my baby shower which all still had tags on them and I was DECLINED. The return assistant told me that she was not able to even give me a merchandise credit for any of the clothes because they were zeroed out in the system. Now I had just gotten all of these clothes less than six months ago in November all I simply asked for was a return merchandise credit so I could therefore go by boy clothes now she advised me that maybe I could sell the clothes to a friend. And it turns out it is a boy not a girl so I was just going to exchange all the target clothes I had received for my baby shower which all still had tags on them and I was declined. The return Assistant told me that she was not able to even give me a merchandise credit for any of the clothes because they were zeroed out in the system. I was in this store recently, and while I was impressed with its cleanliness and the helpfulness of its staff, I was decidedly angered that while I was hearing announcements of concerns for my safety, and the availability of curbside pick up for those who do not wish to wear masks, I was dashing about the store trying to avoid a couple who not only chose not to wear masks, they were never asked to put on masks, and the man made a point of speaking to others, including store staff I believe, perfectly willing to draw attention to his masklessness. When I asked a store associate about the mask policy, aren't folks to wear masks I was told they were "supposed to." I admit I did not address the couple with my concern. Given that I am first and foremost the one who can best guard my health, and I believe it is clear that there are others who do not concern themselves with the health of others or cooperating with the request of store management, it is up to me to take care of myself. I am disappointed with the store workers in not approaching these individuals, I saw some other bare faced folks as well, however once again the media shares stories of violence in cases where those resistant are addressed. Sadly I guess I will choose then to avoid this store, and encourage those with whom I have even socially distanced contact to do so also. read more

Seasonal cake mixes etc. can be found throughout the year in the first few grocery aisles. This store is usually clutter free and clean, yet its normal to see employees re-stocking items throughout the store. The parking lot is well lit and the hours open early and close late, working well for those working during the day. read more
