Terrible service. I came here for a quick run and this place was a mess. There were so many people in line and they were definitely understaffed. I enjoy almost every Target however the experience here was different. I know for a fact that Target price matches, however the attendants here told me they don't price match, and probably won't for the rest of 2018. Stood/walked around looking for a team member for 10 minutes, no one to be found. Picked up the help phone to call for help. No answer. Finally see a team member and ask for her help. I like going to target to get necessities and at checkout an employee named Michael was super friendly and well-mannered.

They canceled my pick up order for no reason. I called in to find out if they had put my items back on the shelf or if it was still available as I ordered it as a gift. First 3 attempts, no one picked up the phone. Then tried calling a bunch of different departments and after long wait finally someone picked up. They just said that the item is now out of stock and there is nothing they can do and hung up on me. This store needs better management and more motivated employees. I wish I could give this store a minus 0 star. I rarely shop at this Target because taxes are higher in Inglewood so I go to the one down the street on 120th and off Crenshaw instead. Well this visit was absolutely the worse!!!! I was in the store shopping off the clearance racks when I hear a woman start screaming for help. I was crying and yelling and running around in total hysterics. I was the first person to approach get to see what happened, she said someone took her basket and her purse was also in it. She literally ran from the middle of the store to the front screaming for help and no one from Target showed any concern. She was crying and screaming but the Target employees didn't seem to care. Finally myself and a few other customers got very upset and we tried assisting her. We asked the employees ( who were just standing around) if they were going to help her. Finally someone said, we're reviewing the cameras. I asked if the police had been called, they said no, all we do is review the cameras. We were all getting livid and the poor woman was falling apart. I offered her water, and to use my phone or help in any way at all. The Target employees offered her nothing, not even just kind soothing words. After about 10-15 two woman found the woman's purse. They said it was thrown in the floor in the cosmetics department. The cash was taken to the purse but luckily everything else was still inside. I thought it was pathetic that customers were more vigilant and concerned for the customers than were the employees. Everyone in that store especially the store managers need some some serious training in customer service , and loss prevention procedures. I told the manager that she sucked and needed to learn to be more compassionate. This is no way to treat not only customers but human beings in general. read more

Was there this morning and masks are absolutely not enforced. Target EMPLOYEES weren't all wearing them (a heavy set woman wearing a Target badge walk right past me without one on). There was only one line to check out, and the man behind me had no mask. If you want to waste your time and money buying something this specific target is the perfect place for you. Staff is rude and inattentive. They rarely have in Stock what you're looking for, and everything is unorganized and out of place. Overall cleanliness of this place is decent which is why it deserves at least one star but you're better off going across the street to food4 less or aldi for groceries and the target off 120th and Crenshaw if you want to actually get what you came for. They have to re-assess the inventory turnover of the entire baby section, specifically the diapers and feeding sections. I go to this Target almost twice a week and 95% of the time they are out of stock of the baby items I need. I end up having to order from Amazon or having to go to another store for same-day needs. So I'm at Target in Inglewood returning something I received at my baby shower. I've returned tons of stuff in the past, it's never been a problem (at other Targets), I have a baby registry with them. Like most Americans, I spend thousands of dollars at Target yearly. The young lady at the register tells me the system won't allow her to make the return, so she calls Joseph the manager. He eventually makes it to customer service & says that I need to bring the item I'm exchanging to customer service so they can finish the return/exchange. I inform him that I'm buying multiple items. He says that's fine, bring them over. Upon returning & having to wait again for my turn & for Joseph to be called over, Joseph proceeds to put the value of the returned item on a merchandise return card. Like JOSEPH, you could have done this the first time we were here & not had us going back & forth to customer service & waiting around longer. We're in a pandemic, no one has time to be hanging out at Target for any additional unnecessary time. Not to mention a different employee Miguel is walking around with his mask hanging below his nose. All these extra precautions mean nothing if we can't keep our faces properly covered up. Well when I requested the refund all I had was a receipt. They required me to bring in item....I got upset.. purchased in Beverly Hills, returned to Inglewood ...to say need item! I don't frequent Targets in the Los Angeles area but I had to write about the young man that helped us, Adam, were doing the social distancing thing and directed to his line. My friend was next and his register froze with 2 people in front of us. His supervisor came over and told him to go to the next register and help us while she worked on the problem. He apologized to each of us as he helped us. He asked how our day was going when clearly his wasn't going that great but he never broke a sweat he kept helping and kept a great attitude the entire time and there were 3 of us plus a woman behind us waiting to be helped. I haven't gone to target in a while because walmart is cheaper. But I went here because someone with me wanted to shop at this crap. Although target stores are cleaner than walmart can ever be. Their team members and team leaders are still lazy here. Once I walk in this store, you see red team members loitering here and there. Texting or doing whatever on their phones. Hiding. No one works here. You see dudes sagging like some teenaged gangbangers from the 90s. Pants all the way down to their ankles lol. How did they get hired? Wow. Then when you try to get one of their attention, they give you attitude because you interrupted them from not working. I was doing price comparison with walmart app by scanning target barcodes of stuff that I was thinking of getting at target. Target prices were 20% more lol. I guess people like target because their stores are cleaner than Walmart, Kmart, etc. I can't do it. But I did get a target brand of some wipes, since they were on sale and about same price as Walmart Great Value brand. They only had two lights on for cashier availability. We went to a young black woman. Omg this lady was not friendly. She put the cleaning items in same bag as meat and food. So when she got to us, I told her if she can please bag the food in different bag from the "toxic" stuff lol. People in line laughed. She looked at me like I slapped her in face or something. Then put my wipes in same bag as my company's turkey bacon lol. Wow. Unbelievable. I wish her name was on my receipt. I would post it on here. I will never go here anymore. Store is nice and clean. Most of the time, products are available; this is a higher traffic store which means less staff at registers, longer lines and high utilization of self checkout. So, just be patient. Staff aren't overly friendly, and don't really ask if they can help you with anything if they see you walking around, but the cashiers are always friendly and talkative. read more

I was in Target this morning and made some purchases. I wanted something from Starbucks located inside. Although, I know that the display food is not for sell, it disturbs me that there were two flies having fun on the Chocolate Chip cookies. I ended up not purchasing anything because that was not sanitary. When I mentioned it to the cashier, she just smiled as it was no big deal.. I told her that the cookie tray should be sanitized and removed. I know that Starbucks is not part of Target, but an enhancement. I called HR and they said that they would inform Starbucks. As I stood in line with another lady. We waited ten minutes. Not one cashier at your returns counter. However; a young man was there separating go backs. Not one time did he acknowledge the people waiting. I then went to ask the cashier at the registers if she could call a manager. NO MANAGER SHOWED UP. Finally three of your employees came from the outside assisting drive up. Not one, BUT THREE.!! If drive up is what/who you cater to, close your returns desk. Joseph felt the need to say "we are doing the best we can, you are just going to have to wait". I said "boy if you don't get away from me, it's over". I said "but I am going to complete the survey on you". He says "go ahead". I then follow next to him (leaving my transaction that was not complete) to get his name. When I asked he walked off trying to cover his badge.!! He was completely out of line, if he had used that energy to assist those waiting. I would not have to complete this yelp.!!! Many argue that Target is so much better than WALMART. I beg to DIFFER.! Where do I start? Recommendation for the consumer. make sure you look at the price tag for each item that's marked on the display and compare it with the cost at the register.. I picked up a scooter that was priced for $69 on the display, when the cashier scanned it it was $179.00.. the black 18 piece hangers were advertised for $1.99 but when she scanned it it was $2.50. Lastly I had to puzzles made out of wood, the price on the display were $10 each, it was scanned at $12.95 each. I can understand one item being off but all? Seems a little shady to me. I would like to compliment the young man Steven at the Starbucks inside the Target Store on Century Blvd. First of all, He was the only person working, I mean taking orders and making drinks.
