This used to be a great Target what happened ? When I walked in the store looked nice when I rounded the corner to the clothes section it was as if a tornado had come thru. This was approx 3pm in the afternoon. The employees I encountered smiled and were nice . I did use the restroom and the stalls were out of toilet paper. I asked an employee for tp and she returned with some . I was in the grocery aisles and they were neat and stocked . One of the shelves with thermos type cups had green slime on a couple of shelves . This is not a Super Target. Therefore, it's smaller and half of it isn't a grocery store. Granted you will find some of your grocery items here, but you most certainly will not be able to do all your grocery shopping here. The aisles are wide which makes it easy to navigate around the store. Always plenty of registers open so checking out is a breeze. Large parking lot, but it is often difficult to locate a close parking space because this store is located in Dogwood Plaza. There's a Starbucks in the front of the store, but I'd advise you to skip it. I'm not sure who trained the "baristas" (I use the term loosely) here, but they haven't a clue as to what they are doing. There is also no free WiFi. I gave this particular Target an extra star because when Hurricane Katrina hit back in 2005, they were actually giving out free bags of ice. Now, that may not seem like such a big deal, but for those of you who remember it and lived it, ice was a VERY big deal. It was impossible to find. There was actually a person in Hattiesburg, MS who was shot over a bag of ice. Kudos to this Target for stepping up and helping their locals who were in need at the time! read more

i have placed multiple online orders for pick up and when i arrive, i am told the item was never in stock to begin with. my most recent purchase was a $350 carseatfor my son that he needs. the order was cancelled due to item not being in stock, once again. when i called, a rude woman answered and said the money should be in my account the next day and hung up immediately before i could ask about when the car seat would be back in stock. it has been 3 days now, with no refund. i have called multiple times to get some answers, but no one has picked up the phone. i will NOT be back to target. read more

Nice Target location. The staff is always nice, and they keep the store clean. I feel like this location is busier than the other one. There seems to always be some lines, at least. This location has the tanks for the soda stream. read more

Came here for a few things. Store was under some renovations but what they had done looked really great. Love the more upscale modern look they're doing. Staff was friendly and helped me find some items on my list. Check out was long but I didn't mind waiting. Overall will be back. read more

I need to give a shout out to this store on Old Fort Parkway. Their employees have consistently gone over the top in personal service.

You don't put something on your shelf unless you can buy it I picked up something to buy it and when I got to the register when I scanned it it said you cannot purchase this and then the rude lady came up because you can't buy this to the end of December so I don't even know where you got this from but you need to put it back you don't put something on your shelf unless you want people to buy it it's kind of ridiculous that they do this like people should get fired for doing that read more

Ample parking. Very clean parking lot. Clean store. Welcoming. Very diverse with the employment, so that was a delight to see. Serene shopping experience. I walked around with headphones, testing them before I bought them, and no one bothered me. I didn't feel watched, thank you. The only difficulty was when I didn't realize that I was trying to talk to an associate who was hearing impaired. That made me feel bad. Other than that, prices seem all right, shelves were stocked well and being restocked, the employees were courteous, and I was checked out very quickly and happily. I am a Target fan hands down. Ever since I ventured into college I've always relied on Target. This particular location has a wonderful staff. They are quick to assist and are easily noticed in the aisles and various departments when you are seeking someone to point to where things are located, like a random balloon helium machine when you are running late for an event. I was checking out and an item rang up the wrong price from the price advertised on the shelf. I brought it to the cashiers attention and she immediately told me no that's right. She was rude and talked down to me like I was stupid. Well I told her keep it then I went and found a manager and took them to the shelf where I got the item and showed them. They were somewhat apologetic but still didn't make it right. I also let them know how the cashier behaved and they acted like that's the norm. I really don't like Target but now I refuse to spend another dime there. read more

The associates in this Target are nice and always helpful. There is one manager who is a jerk, but the others are nice. I don't see as many associates standing around talking as I have in other Targets & Walmarts. If they are on break, apparently they are trained to go to the break room or take off their Target vests so they don't give the store a negative appearance. As with most Targets, some items are priced a little high, but the quality is generally good. I gave them 3 stars because of the manager that is a jerk and the fact that I am STILL waiting to see clothing and accessories for USM fans. This Target is geographically closer to Hattiesburg, but all they have is State, Ole Miss, & other SEC schools, some even from schools out-of-state. I don't recall seeing items for SWAC schools, either. read more
