Everything. The extensive buffet was delicious. The atmosphere was welcoming. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure the guests were satisfied-- and making them aware when new items had been added to the buffet. (Our hostess, Nina, was a real gem.) And the cost for our whole group was quite reasonable. I will eat there again, whenever I'm visiting friends in the greater San Jose area. read more

The food was delicious, many great mediterranean options. It's very clean and the service was great. I highly recommend it!

It's bad quality for today Saturday 4-11-26 And my order was 3 sandwiches and one soda for $40 Soda cans for $3.47 which is outside for 99 cents The sandwiches quality was not good at all . When I ordered was only 2 customers inside read more

Went here for my mom's birthday, an absolute flop. The service was questionable. The item I ordered was labeled as a "French Cheese Shawarma," which was described as a beef or chicken shawarma sandwich on a French roll with cheese. I requested beef, and our server brought out chicken. It was not on the roll as described. When we sent the order back, I received a basic beef shawarma. We were also charged $10 for labneh, an appetizer that came after our entrees. No sauce in the shawarmas, meat and pitas served with the labneh were dry. The only menu items I genuinely enjoyed were the mint lemonade and the french fries which isn't saying much. read more

Heard many good things about this place and decided to visit. They definitely have a spacious indoor dining area. There are food on display and a menu of delicious items to choose from. I picked the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich which was so delicious and flavorful although the wrap was a bit oily. The staff here are super friendly and attentive! Baffled with the quality of food. Yes it's clean, and they are decent at service but how could a Syrian place have such below average chicken shawarma?!!! Literally one of the worst I have had in the US. You have to think of ways to improve this atrocity. read more

Worst restaurant experience ever. The shawarma meat tasted very bad (rancid/greasy) and was not cooked properly. The rest of the order had no salt at all. When you try to order, they make you feel uncomfortable and automatically give you the large size without even asking which size you want. They even charged us for water -- tow dollar for each bottle. This is the worst restaurant I've ever been to, and I do not recommend trying it at all. read more

Been here in person a number of times and also did DoorDash, food is delicious, freshly made, but the place is so disorganized. People running around all over, cashier goes to bus tables, and the helpers will be arguing with guests over the bill. There will be new customer's trying to see whether to get take out or dine in or just leave. I hate watching the drama that always unfolds. But enjoy the food so much so I am conflicted when I dine in. From reading my own review I think I will stick to DoorDash. :) read more

I cannot say enough good things about Tatboosh! I reached out to them just three days before my daughter's engagement event, and they were absolutely amazing. From helping me choose the perfect menu to ensuring we had the right portions for our guests, they were so supportive and thoughtful. Must-Try for Middle Eastern Food! I recently visited Tarbosh with my sister and daughter, and wow, what a find! We're always on the hunt for great places to eat, and this one did not disappoint. The kebabs were so juicy, the hummus was some of the best we've had, and the falafel was perfectly crispy! The Turkish coffee with Arab ice cream was such a treat, and my kid couldn't stop talking about the viral TikTok Dubai chocolate bar--it was as yummy as it looks online! Plus, the prices were super reasonable for the portion sizes and quality. My sister and I are already planning to come back. read more

Excellent food! Everything was delicious and we were really impressed with the Egg Plant salad and the Mohammara. Very tasty and flavorful appetizers. The Lamb Shank was very good as well. I wish the rice that came with the lamb came with the Beef Shawarma. The downside to our visit was it became very busy after our food came out and unfortunately there was only one server. read more

Okay..if you are looking for legitimate Arabic food then this is your place. Service: 10/10 Rita was awesome and patient with our order. Food portions: 10/10. We got the meal for 5..not sure who said their portions were small because everything we ordered was huge! This platter had like 4-5 different styles of meat on them and they were all bursting with flavor and cooked perfectly! This is worth the drive to come here. read more

I truly enjoy dining at Tarbosh! I think their food selection and quality is excellent, and the portions are always generous. The service is efficient; we always get seated immediately. Our server takes our order within 10 mins of seating us, and our ordered food gets delivered to our table pretty quickly as well. I visited this restaurant about 5 times and always had a positive experience. Recently, my family ordered the beef shawarma with rice, chicken shawarma sandwich, beef shawarma sandwich, and quzi (lamb with rice). Our server was Iman, and he is such a friendly fellow with kind customer service! The rice in all of the plates are very moist and flavorful. The lamb, beef shawarma, and chicken shawarma were incredibly tender and tasty. My favorite is the chicken shawarma; the chicken marinade is delicious and perfectly coats the chicken without being too excessive. On other occasions, my family ordered their tabbouleh salad, which is one of my favorite appetizers from Tarbosh. Usually, tabbouleh salad is not my favorite salad because it can be a bit salty and too acidic for me, but I think the tabbouleh salad at Tarbosh is very well-balanced in acidity. Also, the size of the salad is huge and perfectly sufficient for sharing among my family of 5. Their baba ghanoush is also very well made. We visited Tarbosh during their Sunday buffet hours. It was amazing!! They have a wide food selection of entries, and it was a great opportunity to try different foods. During the buffet hours, they have food items that are not listed on their regular menu. There is a soft eggplant dish that is delicious and well-seasoned; I didn't catch the name of it, but I learned that is only served during the buffet. Another unique item that is served during buffet is a soft, chewy cold dessert called Layali lubnan (which translates to "Lebanese nights.") It is a magical semolina cold pudding with hints of orange blossom/rose and topped with crushed pistachios. It has the stickiness/stretchiness of mochi. I honestly considered dining during the buffet hours just to eat some more of the Layali lubnan! In all, I highly recommend Tarbosh. Their food is delicious, their service is efficient, and their restaurant and restrooms are very clean. read more
