They also sent a letter too, confirming. I arrived to a office & right away I got a feeling the young receptionist was not very good at her job as not saying hello I'll be right with you or nothing. Finally I was given a questionare & wated 1-1/4 hours to be called back to a room. The young lady ma? Without gloves... was unable to get the blood pressure cuff Bluetooth to work and argued with another ma? over using the wrong one. So the Dr. Entered the room introduced himself and asked who my wife was? And then blew my mind he asked me why I was visiting his office? WTF? I said " you tell me? " He said I dont know with my folder in hand... and this is after the 20 questions the young lady ma? that admitted not being a certified ma with no credentials and no schooling asked me at her computer. So going forward the Dr. Acussed me of having an attitude and talked down to me and explained he has 80 patience scheduled ea week and only 40 make it in, so he never takes the time to investigate ones reason for the visit and in not doing so he didn't have any ct scan results nor my biopsy results, nor the 3rd testing of 3 types of test that was done and a letter stating so sent to me as to why I was sent on this very day to have this Dr. Read my results. All I wanted to know was yes or no do I have cancer and this ill prepared Dr. Couldn't answer me but instead fed me his excuses as to why he never does his job.... I'll prepared, unreliable, rude, assistants unqualified, unwilling to take responsibility and hard to talk to this Dr. examined my neck without gloves... and told me cancer or not in his opinion I need to have all 5 nodules surgically removed as they were all over 4 centimeters in size, and referred me to UCSF, The Dr. Then asked me to mail any results to his office, then he asked me to email them, then he told me he would call modesto imaging and get them his self tomorrow being Monday. WTF? it's your job not mine to prepare you with the results to do your job and read me the results....so I was told lastly, I will call you by Wednesday to read your results and if you dont hear from my office in 3 weeks with UCSF reference please call us to remind us. Again, im floored to think this guy is being referred by many drs including mine lol wait till I send a copy of this review to not only my referring Dr. & also my insurance so they are aware of my waisted day and a office visit that I believe should not be rendered as a true visit with payment due. Her pharmacy (CVS) notified her last week she needed to contact Dr Rooke before refilling would be approved. She tried calling , leaving messages. And calling again and again. In the meantime she has been using her short acting insulin to carry her till she can get a refill. She is almost out of that medication. Today, January 24 she got through. She was told to speak With the Dr. She needed to get an online account and activate it. She did this and when she contacted the office they told her it wasn't active and gave her more information on doing it again. She did this over and over without success. By then office was closed. This is ridiculous to drag out treatment of an older (93) diabetic patient. She will be going to urgent care tomorrow since it has now become an urgent situation due to the poor patient service from his office.

I have been patient of Dr. Khin Ma since August of 2022. Let that sink in. Over 3 years! I see her for monitoring of my thyroid nodules. Let's start with the fact that she arrived to the office when my appointment was scheduled to start. I saw her while in the waiting room arriving to work with her jacket and belongings. I was 20 min early to my appointment and didn't see her until 25 min after my appointment was supposed to start. With my 16 month old son mind you at 7:30 in the morning, so I had to wake him from his sleep to get in the car to attend. Today was the second time I had to bring my baby to my appointment with her so she's met him before. She also saw me during my pregnancy. For some reason I must have looked elderly today because she proceeded to ask me if I was his grandmother!! Excuse me?! Do you not see in my chart I am 37 years old? I mean sure I guess I could possibly be a grandmother but as a known patient, this is crazy. This was the first time in my child's existence that someone asked me that. And to top it off I have fertility issues and had 4 miscarriages while doing IVF to even have my son, which Dr. Ma was aware of! She spent most of my appointment typing and reading notes. She thought I only had a biopsy with Kaiser years ago before I was a Sutter patient and SHE was the one who sent me to UC Davis 2 years ago to have a biopsy done!!! Like am I in the twilight zone? You clearly are unprepared, and to assume my child is my grandson is insanity and I'm highly offended give the lack of professionalism. I should have just done this virtually instead of coming into the office since she literally never touched me or examined my thyroid.

I did had to wait a while to see her, my appointment was at a certain time and I was not seen until 45 minutes after that. Not only was her staff extremely friendly they were also very educated on the services they were providing. I have been looking A long time for a doctor that can focus on my problems that I have. Dr. G was absolutely amazing! She listened to me, she understood me, and she never once made a judgment about me. She takes the time with her patients and that is something i find that is very rare these days. Once I left the appointment I realized that waiting 45 minutes in the lobby was worth every second that I got to spend with Dr. G. I have since seen her a second time and she is very focused on me as a person... She wants to find a resolution for my lifestyle and that is something I really appreciate. I feel like she listens to me, she understands me, and she is able to provide great resources for me as well. I feel like she truly wants me to succeed. Her staff has been beyond amazing even though I've only been there twice. They are very personable and friendly and always make me feel comfortable, which is something I find very important these days. I am currently scheduled for biweekly visits and should any of the above statement change I will come back and revise my review. However, I do not for see that happening! I am overly thrilled with the services provided by Dr. G and her staff! Dr Hodgson was very helpful and even walked with us to the gasto department to help us get an appointment. With her help, we got in MUCH sooner than expected - in just 15 minutes! We appreciated the teamwork of the surgeon and gastro department and the prompt communication of information, by phone, when necessary. The online portal is also very handy for checking on test results, bills, and communicating with the doctors. They always responded promptly to questions we submitted via the portal.
