This was for my complaint of having shortness of breath at night, getting in the way of me being able to sleep, with concerns to it being related to my pregnancy. She didn't even do a physical on me before coming to this assessment. I kept trying to explain to her that I've never experienced this before and she told me in a condescending manner, "well, what do you think you have then?" Idk??? Why do you think I'm coming here, probably to try and figure that out? She left the room and immediately I heard her out in the hallway telling another provider that I "didn't like that she told me it was my anxiety" and I could hear them laughing. I am absolutely disgusted by the treatment I've received here, for them to not even complete a physical before immediately diagnosing me and then proceeding to talk about me like that with others in the hallway. An EKG was eventually done, but not before I felt like I had to advocate for myself to get checked out. I came to this appointment after a nurse on a nurse line recommended I get checked out due to my symptoms. As someone who works in healthcare, I'm appalled by this behavior. Immediately telling a patient that it's just anxiety without even doing any type of assessment, is something I was at least taught by my instructors and fellow providers, to avoid as it's incredibly dismissive and makes it harder for patients to feel as though they are being effectively listened to and cared for when you're straight out telling them that it's just all in their head. This place is incredibly unprofessional. Look for care elsewhere. For the providers at this place, the walls are a lot thinner than you think.

Repeated calls and appeals have been turned down. While the employees at the front desk agree that I am being billed incorrectly, Optum internal billing denies appeals, provides no reason, and is now threatening collections.
